Depends but keep in mind every time you release pressure via the degas bottle you get to do the bleed procedure once more.
If the engine was just luke warm, don't expect a lot if any back pressure from the degas bottle cap,
now if it was running hot and you popped the cap .... yeah, stand back Brother !
Do please note the very last step in the bleed procedure,
After the engine has cooled, add coolant to the degas bottle to bring the level to the cold fill MAX mark.
Leave the Degas bottle alone and burp the cooling system via the bleed line, get the air out, open it until
a steady stream runs down, close it, rev the car some more with the heat on MAX, burp it some more (carefully)
Don't open the Degas bottle until it's cooled down, if you need to refill it to the cold line.
If you cap is not holding pressure when it's hot, you'll know it !
