Crank, no start

My 1998 Lincoln Mark 8
Crank, but no start. I disconnected the crankshaft position sensor, stll no start. I took off a coil pack, grounding the end of the spark plug, to grounding. No spark. Ok, so now what? What else could be wrong, that causes no spark?

You can't just disconnect the csp sensor
You need a good one and sometimes the harness fails too
