You told the machine shop to make the cams to your needs? What did you tell them you needed without knowing the specs? I hope the improvement with the cams makes up for the lack of back pressure with no cats and mufflers.

Well If anyone is wondering i kinda ran into a problem with my trans ...so my car has been off the road for awhile now...it will be back shortly, with more videos to follow soon.
 
Whoa! Glad this was bumped up, I never saw the thread at all? Cant wait for a video. What happened to the tranny? Getting a rebuild or replace with another?

NOOOOO!!!!!!!!! How many miles? How are he cams?
 
Well the tranny has about 3000 miles on it since i got it rebuilt using the animal rebuild kit...Its was doing great until for some reason the park gear started constintly trying to engage:confused: ...Long story short, it did a pretty good number on the trans :mad:
 
ok sooo....3 weeks latter i finally got my tranny fixed, well kinda :shifty: ...its starting to make a weird clicking noise now....:eyeroll:....but i will be making a short video clip tonight before i end up breaking something else :rolleyes: ...so look forward to a short clip by this time tommorow, and sorry its taken me so long...
 
Lol I think I may be the first to have seen this. I love the sound it sounds like there's a rattle at the end though. I also love the oh $hit.

Question EMPIRELS, what kind of work did you have done on your transmission along with the rebuild? I'm looking to have some upgrades on my tranny but have on other "real" mods under the hood.
 
damn man, that thing is a beast!

it sounds TOTALLY wrong, and thats why i want to shake your hand!

time to upgrade the rims and tires haha.

I had the PTS animal rebuild kit from level ten installed, and i had a custom convertor made with a 2800 stall...
 
Back to TDUB's question, How much did the tranny build run you? Also, the 2800 stall what did that go for?
 
I would like to see the gauges other then being really load it didnt seem to shift a hole lot faster.....?
 
I hate to bug you about this EMPIRELS but any updates?:confused:

How she running, any numbers or problems after all this time?
