Dyno'd my 2003 sport

All the runs were in 4th gear,does 239+ sound right[at the rear wheels]for a car thats supposed to have 280?we tried changing the air-fuel mix. with little success,couple of horses but had detonation.heres a copy of the last run.
 
Not bad! I am getting my dyno in this Saturday we have 30 cars going, mostly Charged Cobras and a few Charged 350Z's 3 runs for $60 here in Chicago.

it cost me 200.it was on the dyno all day [trying to retune it]with no sucsess

I should have pics by Thursday, My camera phone broke on vacation last week and I dont have anything else to snap a pic. Hopefully my new phone will be in this week. I have a guy close to me in Naperville IL that has a nice dyno setup.

Nice! looking to dyno mine here in Ohio, which there are several options for me. With that said I just recieved my SCT Xcal2 today, how does your run? I am super excited to load the program once I get home today. Some people say you can notice a big difference and some dont notice to much at all. I am hoping for much improvement.

Program 2 with +2 degree I think its called, is a BIG difference, especially with CAI and exhaust. It will ping. Either fill up with 94+ octane or get the NOS off road octane booster with Nitro-Methane additive. It works great. I can run 93 octane with the NOS additive with no pinging at all. About $11 per bottle at AutoZone.

Cool I have the following on my ride:

-KKM Intake
-Borla Cat-back system
-Eibach Pro-Kit

And now with this PCM flasher I am looking for some serious gains. I actually use NOS street performance every oil change in my LS, so I know what you are talking about. Thanks for the tips!

-15%. Pretty good with an auto!
 
Leadfoot, do you have any mods? If not are you planning any?

Intake, Exhaust, SCT Pro? It would cool to see each of these additions dyno'd to compare to the baseline you have established...

Sorry it took me so long to answer [been out of town].Only changes i've made are magnaflow mufflers,K&N air filter and I prefforated the bottom of the filter box with a 1 inch paddle bit instead of cutting it to keep it's strength.Yes i'm looking for more mods but not interested in a couple of horses here and there[waiting on the supercharger],possibly a gear change on rear end.
 
Hey could one of you guys record some exhaust sound clips I am going to get exhaust done on my ls and wondered what some of the different types sound like :Beer
 
i am also wondering if anybody has any sound clips. i am also looking for an exhaust. i want something that idols quiet but when u get on it i want a throaty sound. thanx:cool:

Approximatley 15% loss to the wheels. Some cars lose 5% more.
 
hey it may sound stupid but i had my mufflers cut off and 3 foot SS tips put on my lincoln ls and it sounds bad ass. btw the ls's have a throttle delay when u floor it it only opens the throttle half way if u get a SCT tuner u can have the problem turned off my car did 235 hp 253 lbs of torque no rev limiter does 150mph and no speed limiter i can try to get a sound clip on here.btw due to white face gauge issues u have to add 15 mph to my speedo.

Does the throttle delay have to be turned off by the tune writer or is it a user adjustable parameter?

Any and all TBW functions are not only not accessible by the end users, it is only allowed to be accessed by SCT tuners with Calibrator level access to Advantage 3. Allot of SCT tuners/dealers only have access to the Professional level.
