Englishtown Roll Call - Saturday 4/4/09

Really? I see cloudy with showers...? Would figure though. Every time I can make something it ALWAYS rains. lol

Thats good other wise I wasted a ton of time putting on the 250 horse NOS shot for nothing

Richduty, rich88, and htrdlincoln (sean) you all have a PM.

Everyone else, see you in the morning at the diner. I was thinking we are aiming for 930 am (me rich and sean) to be at the diner. Gives us a half hour to bull:q:q:q:q and a little room for anyone being late or whatever, then we can all ride out to the track from there.

I might not be back on tonight so you guys have my cell. If anyone else is going from south jersey/philly thats the game plan. I was figuring the rest stop on the turnpike mile marker 39 at 845 or so. James fenimore cooper or something.

Justin

I may stop in if I go that way cause I take a back route that brings me in about the track most of the time

You guys are lucky no one races Lincolns out here at my track.

sti's can adjust the differential, you can set most of the power to the rear with the flick of a switch. or you can set it to the front or 50/50. stis are awesome.

Yes since an AWD car is lifting the front tires the rear wheels aren't doing anything like a RWD car  Yes I am tryin to think that ;)

Unfortunately I am seeing you getting slicks and it not doing anything like your thinking it will do. How can I come to such an assumption? Cause I have been with Pro teams to street squids and have seen the difference time and time again.

No pissing match, just reality as NMCA cars are trapping over 200mph on DOT slicks...but thats just

Not all can, it has to be a year that came with DCCD and mine is not one. Also you can't get that much of a torque split or I would modify mine to have it

It was nice meeting you guys even though it was a shi!tty day for drag racing.

I find out when i get to the track rich duty's fuel pump or something went out at the diner? That freaking blows. Still not sure what happened with that.

Then we get there and the wind is blowing like crazy and then the guy tells me they are only running the 1/8 which was such a waste of spending the last few days getting the car ready before i tuned it to get some more numbers. Awesome.

Got two runs all day - lame - and on my second run i was racing into some fierce wind gusts and that was total ass.

I ran slower today then i did when it was stock, go figure. 160* t stat, k * n, no 3rd cat, x pipe, lms mufflers, added since last time and only difference was i had some stuff in the trunk. I'll have it tuned this week and down at atco by mid april with new times.

On the plus side i had one mean r/t first time out.

Yeah, today sucked royally for racing which is one reason I left when I did. The other was the 2 hour wait between runs.

Your 60 foots were like mine on both runs.

Oh well...at least it was a reason for me to get the car cleaned. lol

Finally got my vids uploaded from a rotten day @ E-town

I hate my spare camera! It takes way to long between videos so I got crap

Well, first off let me say it was defenitely nice to meet everyone yesterday, everyone was really cool!!! that sucks they only got to run 1/8 mile.....as for my piece of crap, not sure what the deal is with it yet, I played with everything to get it running, took out the chip, switched relays, banged the tank a million times...nada....so I went in the diner got something to eat and waited for my tow guy to get there...I can't tell you how pissed off i was at my car!!!! But I want to thank everyone for helping out some and hopefully we'll get another meeting together, this time I won't break!!!

That was the LS that showed up later on actually. ;)

Thanks for the video and cool BSin with you in the staging lanes. Now I know who you are.

Yeah for what it's worth right ;)
Tellin ya it was a suck ass day @ E-town. Half from the wind 1/8 mile crap and the other was the Vette Day so it took for ever to get a run

I just sat in my car and watched almost half of Death Race I was so bored sittin there...

To Richduty455 I told the one with your number that mine did that twice to me. Found that if I unplugged the Crank Sensor and plugged it back in the car fired right up. Did ya give that a try while you where there

Why did they only let you run 1/8th mile because of the wind? Out here at Infineon raceway we have a head wind bigger than that almost every week and we run 1/4 mile or close the track down.

No idea.

That's the first time that I've been there that they've pulled that crap. We raced down in Atlanta in November with a headwind similar to that and we went the full quarter.

I've been racing there I can't tell you how many years and I have never seen them 1/8 mile it

Yea that sucks 1/8 mile.....yes i tried the crank sensor, thanks for the imput, but no suck luck.....wire to the fuel pump was broken :( but its all better now! Hopefully we'll get another meet together sometime this year again
