Since I can't access the other Fabulous Fords thread (I get a 404 error) I started this one......

Got my registration packet today. Man oh man, the peeps at FFF must have a got one heck of a deal on florescent paper! This year's tag is florescent pink! WOW!!

So, is anyone else besides me planning on attending?
 
I really want to, but I dont know if I can. I am really low on time, but I'm going to try and make it. I still haven't sent in my registration for because of this reason.

Don't know yet. I take it to the painter today. I'm going to give Bumper Doc a try. IMHO, they would have to be pretty good at paint matching.

Just dropped it off. Two quotes of ~$400 (at this point I thought about getting rid of it) and the Mom-and-Pop place at $200. Needless to say, the M&P shop got the work and I pick it up Friday. They kept my grille (good thing I just bought a new one!) and took the color code for a perfect match.

I'll post pictures when I get it installed.


Those that attend (at least 4 of us from LLSOC) will get to see it in person!
 
Wow... $200?

I think paint places take advantage of loose parts for paint to make up for damage/paint repair that is usually paid via insurance.

The place I took my stuff to be painted wants $250 per panel, which wasn't too bad sounding considering my panels were a hood and bumper, which are large areas.

But a spoiler is like a tenth of the area of a hood, and they want almost as much. Pretty crazy.

Last year we had 6 LSes...... We did take off for lunch around 11.

I went the year before last.. getting old...bahhhhahhh.. I looked at the picture, and was like this isn't where you guys were parked, yep I am dumb.

And if you look at the bottom of this page, all the threads are there.. hahaha! Ironic huh?

A couple of years ago was our low point. IIRC we had just 3 or 4 LSes.

You HAVE to come and have Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner! I usually get the all white dinner and bring most of the chicken home. Sign up before it's too late! We need all the LSes we can get!

Only 4 days to go! Those that are going to be showing; we meet at the Jack in The Box on La Palma and Knott between 8 and 8:30. We then drive in together so we can be parked together.

I know, I'm going to miss it, I had a great time last year. I will be there at jack's to snap some pic with all of you though
 
I am planning on going this year (with my car entered). Hope the registration comes in the mail by tomorrow!

Can you save a place for me? I may be coming up from SD and may not get to Anaheim until 10.
