Thanks. I have had Fords for a long time. I had 3 Taurus SHO's in a row and felt the LS was the successor. I have now had 2 LS's. Now that it is dead there is nothing left in Fords lineup I am really interested in. I like the Mustang but need a 4 door. I like Jags are OK but the Stype is dead and for that price, well for that price I could get my first ever foriegn luxury/sport car so I might as well play the field right?

The M5 has always been my dream and I am finally getting it. Driving it 1200 miles home will be a wonderful experience!
 
That was your bosses car? What do you for a living if you don't mind me asking. You seem to have a pretty comfortable life. Nice cabin, TJ, M5.

Well actually it is our founders car. Our CEO has a 2003 M5 for sale also but he races his so I was afraid of brakes/clutches/engine probs $$$$$

Our founder drives it like an old lady and it is garaged in the winter. He drives an explorer beater in the winter so the beastie (I have learned on M5board.com that M5 owners call their cars "beasts" :D ) has never seen snow/salt. He wants to save up and get the new 2008 M3 that is coming with the 420 HP V8. So that is why he is selling the M5.

Our company is a venture backed startup in Boulder Colorado. We are a storage area networking company. I am a sales director.

I bought my TJ used and 5 years ago a cabin in North GA was still a baragin.

You ain't doing too bad yourself Mr. LS and CTS-V :cool:
 
I'm actually selling the V. I'm getting tired of driving a stick in crowded New Jersey and the gas mileage is appauling.
I'm still a college student working full time in a bank.
Both were bought originally by my parents. The V I bought from them down the road and the LS was a graduation gift. The STS is a miles car. Both cars we had good friends working at a Ford dealer and a Caddy dealer so we made out well on them.
I would love to get a TJ and build it up and do some off roading.

Or we used to have a 98 M3 and did the BMW Club racing. I'd love to get back into that. You should definentely do that....anyone can bring any type of car. I saw every type of Beamer, Evo's Porsches, LS1 Camaros, Firehawks, Mini Coopers. Its really cool. You can look it up if you want or I can explain the jist of it more if your interested. Some of the East Coast races are at Summit Point,WV which is about half way. Maybe I'll meet you someday.

You got an amazing deal....you better enjoy that "Beast"
 
That's a beautiful beast and a great choice. Price is good too. I saw a 02 black on black M5 at the BMW dealer recently with 34000miles, beautiful condition for $42000..... What a car......

Anyways, good luck with it. Post some more pictures.

Well those are stock tips. I think it is just the angle the picture was taken. If you look at the other rear picture (of the car that is not mine) you will get a better idea of what it really looks like...

Of course Mods will probably happen eventually :D

Yea I am passing out looking at the dollars for some of the mods! $7999 for headers!

On the otherhand, strut braces, CAI, Exhaust, and new engine code is probably all I will ever do to it (plus an mp3 connection and bluetooth conversion). No headers for me :(
 
yeah dinan is not cheap but their computer chip upgrades work very well. thats one thing i'd recommend getting.
 
OK here is what I have sold and what is left:

I have sold my car :(

I have sold my XCAL II SCT unit.

I have sold the intake tube portion of the stock intake but have the stock airbox left if anyone wants it. Would be good to have if you have "swiss cheesed" your airbox and wanted to return to stock.

I still have the stock front grille and stock rear surround for sale.

FYI the guy buying my car is going to put the stock springs back in when he gets it back to Ohio so they are not for sale anymore. However, is anyone interested in the Eibach's since he will have them left over? If you are I will give him your info and you can deal with him yourself.

Thats a tad high for me. I think I found one. 55k mi for 11,000. its a 98 sport. Thinks thats good? I like yours a lot because i want a white one that has already been lifted but 17k is a bit much for me :-(

I ran a C55 AMG (although I suspect it was just a plain C55 with a badge) on a long sweeper freeway entrance ramp. We were doing 45 on the curve and I saw the guy take a running start to sweep by me on the right when we hit the lanes. I got on it, moved over to the far left lane and the race was. He caught up to my back bumper by the time I matched his speed. From about 60 to 110 I put 4 cars on him.

He pulled up along side, gave a thumbs up and mouthed the words "that's a fast f'n car" to which I nodded in agreement.:)

Sell your LS, buy a mint Mark VIII and mod the crap out of it. You'll have a fast luxury car that will smoke everything you are currently looking at for 1/3rd to 1/2 the price.

But then you have to move the seats forward to fill it up with chicks :)
 
OK so I am going to send give the stock springs to the new owner. He is going to drive it for a while and decide whether to keep the Eibachs or put the old springs back in. I told him I could find a buyer for the Eibach's if he decides to take them out.

That leaves the 2003 Airbox and Stock front Grille as the only Items remaining for me to sell.
