Those are just what I want, unfortunatly I just found out two things. One is my mufflers outlet is offset so I cant use those tips.
Two, my mufflers do not say "BORLA" on them like I was told when I bought the car. They say "RAVIN". I like the way they sound, they have a great deep mellow tone but I dont want stock tips again. Not sure, maybe I will try to sell them. Only alternative is stock tips again.poniesviii

My thought is there might be further damage after the cover's peeled off, they're going to have to wait until the body shop takes the car apart for a real estimate. If anything's buckled it's definately totaled (of course)

If you don't have uninsured motorist coverage you need to get it. It is ridiculously cheap and after what keeps happening to you, you need it. You also need to go to the doctor after the make sure they have insurance. They will cover the bills and try to settle with you out of court for pain and suffering. This might be your opportunity to get that supercharger.

Damn the Bumper on the Truck bent that much, and that is all the Damage on your car? what in the hell is behind that bumper on your car? lol , that held up pretty good after seeing that trucks front bumper. unless there bumper was already like that..

Trunk doesnt show any hint of being tweaked. The bumper skin isnt even cracked. If the foam is broken then no big deal as I have a spare.
So what do you guys think of these tips?
I think they might look pretty good if you use the one pictured to the left for the right side and vise verse.

Wait foe the initial teardown first before you do anything. My guess is the absorber and support took the hit. I've seen purty bad stuff hidden under bumper covers before.
One more thing. 25mph and your airbags didn't deploy? Minimum speed for impact sensors front and back is 15mph no?
Someone correct me on this, my ICar cert. Knowledge is pretty rusted out from booze and crack cocaine.

yeah there are no crash sensors in the back of these cars, why would a rear impact set off your air bags, your head is getting cranked backwards anyway, what good would the steering wheel do if the bag went off!!

I am thinking about it but not sure what I would get. I like the tone of my exhaust but wanted it a hair louder which I was going to do by replacing the stock center res/cat with a Magnaflow from SCP.
Great, now my hand hurts. I am the only person at work and mine is the only car in the lot. A truck load of Mexicans just pulled in and quickly cut the grass but then there is one idiot with a backpack leaf blower going down the strip blowing the leaves, rocks and grass towards my car. I yell "STOP! Let me move the car" as I dont want rock chips and my moon roof is open. And he looks at me, smiles and keeps on blowing sand and crap at my car. So I shout "Hey! Stop focker!" and this sob gets two feet from the car and aims the blower at my door and roof and I can hear the sand and dirt bouncing off the paint. I slam him in the shoulder and he drops the hose and clenches his fist so I popped him in the nose. Dude fell straight down, was beautiful. None of his friends so much as set down their water and just watched. Turns out the dude dont speak any english at all. I am a really nice guy and am not the type to get into fights but I have had it with others stupidity and my cars.

Ive done this samething to the mexicans that mowed at my old apartments when i had my 02 GT..i was almost evicted becuse of it....hell i lost my job for 4 weeks because of the guy we were working for was sitting on my hood bouncing up and down on it to "get the alarm to go off". Stupid dickheads get whats comming to them.

Nice! Just stay alert in case he should decide to come back with back-up.

Damn, I go off for a day and come back to see this. Laser, you need to get out of there or park that car and drive something else every so often. It's good that you didn't have a total ass bashing and busted neon, trunk lid, rear window. All of that could have been a lot worse than it is.
Reading the story and then getting down to the pics, I was expecting to see much worse. Glad everyone was ok and those tips look good to me. I like stock tips but I like what you picked out too.

LaserSVT-It is clear by this point at this time you have no "luck" what so ever. The fact that you don't have collission insurance on everything you own is amazing. I've been driving Mark VIII's for 14-years (or longer than Tommy) and you've been in 3(or more)-accidents?!?! in 4-years?!? I've been in 1............and I drove ~280k with 1 no-fault collission.
You NEED collission insurance on EVERYTHING you own, with the least deductible possible. The fact that you don't seem to have it at this point is crazy. You've been in more crashes than I've ever heard of. This include Tommy who drives 100k miles per year.
1 or 2 crashes is maybe a coincidence the amount you've been in..............something is wrong.
Even is it is not your fault, if you have this much bad luck GET collission insurance!!

Hey Bill you fail at life
I "sold" the rear bumper cover on Grandmas Car THREE TIMES in 400,000 miles...and I never replaced the cover.
Each person that hit it, just kept paying for the previous damage.
Twice were in traffic, once the neighbor across the street bought it.
First time I bought exhaust
Second time I bought gears
Third time I paid the car off
