Kill Stories

I ran my Cobra on everyday tires, since you are such a pro you tell me what they were and they were not Dr's or slicks. I saw a post awhile ago where you were asking how to launch your Ls, Looking for the right Rpm's. So I doubt you know anything about a 9 second car let alone a 7 second car.

I see that it took you a while to look around on the internet and see that no one actually makes a 19" DR, ET Street, ET Drag, or slick... I was wondering if you were going to fall into that trap.

Here are a few reasons why I know that you are full of crap:

1) 9 second Cobra running 9's on 19" rims...Not happening...
2) 9 second Cobra running 9's on regular street tires...No way in hell
3) 9 second Kenne Bell Cobra running 9's on 19" rims w/ street tires...

Now if you had said you ran 9's in a turbocharged Cobra with 19's on it then I maaaaay have believed you. The reason being is that they don't usually launch as hard but are able to pull so hard on the back end of the track, once they already have traction, that they can sometimes bust a 9 second ET even with a not-so-pretty 60'. Now a Kenne Bell Cobra has to be launched different alltogether. The KB's build most of their power off the line and mid range and start giving up ever so slightly on the bigend. This means that not only is it hard as hell to launch them (huge traction issues) but if you do not launch them well then your ET will be severely hurt. This is because it will not be able to make it up on the back end as much as the turbo car will.

As for your attempt to flame lincoln00...Well every car is different and likes to be launched and driven different. Some cars when stock will bog when not launched from high rpm, others will hook, and others may even spin. How you have to drive the car at the track is dependent upon so many variables I will not even bother to get into it in full detail. It was smart of lincoln00 to ask for advice on how to launch the car as it will only allow him to attain better ET's faster. That translates into hitting new best times with less track time invested. Anyone who has ran into the 9's would know that different cars prefer to be driven different ways.

Just give it up. I know these cars inside and out and there is no way in gods green earth that you ran a Kenne Bell Cobra into the 9's on 19" rims w/ regular street tires on it. It is laughable to even try to lay claim to something like that. Hell, you would be very lucky to bust 10's with that rim/tire combo.

I really hate to flame someone in this forum but I cannot stand people to lie to others. Doesn't say much about their character.

i probably know more about racing then you ever will... thats how i know you do not have a 9 second cobra on street tires.... My question about lauch was because of the gay ass Drive by wire... that you probably know nothing about...

go head and keeep talking about your bull sh!t 9 second cobra... I owned 2003 MACH 1 that ran in the 12's and it could not have done it on 19's ...... I CALL BULL SH!T ON THIS B!tch!!!

YOU MAKE ALL MUSTANG OWNERS LOOK BAD!!!!!!!!!

hold on and dont spill your beer. Wait that guy couldnt have reached for the benjie on the dash with that launch. M/T's by my gess with that burn out. Guys you are all full of :q:q:q:qnits. I run a 14.424 on 17.5's with nitrous, flame throwers, a turbo per cat and muffler, and a belt driven supercharger. and for intakes.. Dont need one. exhast is completely stock. why you all gotta hate this guy. you should be jelous of me right?

Well, this one time in Tel-afar... this local insurgent leader was trying to insight a riot in a market by tearing down posters for the January elections... from only 150 meters away with an M24...

Oh wait... not what you wanted...
Hey, at least my kill story involved an LS!:p

Opening weekend of muzzleloading is this week. I'll let ya know.

Sorry ILLS I didnt write back sooner. And no I wasn't looking around online for tire sizes. And I see that you remeber the Cobra had a Bell charger on it. But if you also remeber I had the whole rear of the car rebuilt, abd I mean everything. The stock Cobra had a hard time launching with all the wheel hop. As for Lincoln00 he has no clue about this conversation. A Mach 1 is a far cry from a Cobra. Especially the one I had. So ILLs you can call BS all you want but if you never saw the car owned one or even worked on one how do you know what it was capable of? I suggest you go talk to some guys that know a few things about the cars and different set ups for the car. You will come back very surprised and saying you are sorry. The new Cobras even with the same work can't compete with the Termantior Cobras.

I think this guys problem is that he is getting the 1/4 mixed up with the 1/8th.

Actually I have worked on these cars quite often so I have no real clue where you got that from. I know VERY well what they are capable of.

While a SRS is a GREAT mod for the Terminators it still will not compensate for 19's on street tires hitting 9's in the 1/4 mile. You were running street tires, with no sidewall on a big rim...The weight and power transferability with those tires just isn't anywhere near enough to allow the car to hit 9's; especially with a KB on the car. If I were some sort of newby then you might have been able to pull the wool over my eyes. However, I am as close to an expert on these cars as you will find on this board. I have been sought after by more than a few people for advice on the Mustang boards also for various info from engine mods, tuning, suspension setups and so forth. I am also an avid dragracer and know what kind of suspension & rim/tire setup it takes to hit 9's. 19's and street tires (even sticky road race tires) aren't getting it done on the strip. I don't doubt that you had a KB Cobra. I am sure that you did, but you weren't running 9's with it while using the rim/tire combo you claimed. I doubt you would have even hit 10's with 19's on street tires. Most Terminator owners are hard pressed to hit solid 11's on rims that big with street tires and I am not talking about average drivers. If you knew what you were talking about then you would realize just how outlandish that claim actually is.

While I have enjoyed my time setting you straight in this thread I believe it has run its course. If you want to keep BS'ing and acting a fool then be my guest. Don't expect anyone to actually respect you at the end of the day though. Hey, at the very least your retarded claims make those of us who know a thing or two have a few good laughs so I thank you for that.
:Beer

How about this ILLS, if you are up to it? I will buy another Cobra do the same exact set up I had. And where do you live exactly? I will take you to the track and run the 9's for you, if you are willing to reimburse me for proving you wrong. It's obvious that I had more than just the charger on there, The whole entire engine was rebuilt and blueprinted, but if you are such an expert you would know that a charger is not gonna push you over 700 hp alone. And you never asked about torque, and after reading a few threads on here most people think that the HP gets you the fast ET times. Guess they don't know you need torque to get you started. ILLS I'am calling you out. YOU WANNA SEE A 9 SECOND COBRA PUT YOUR MONEY WHERE YOUR MOUTH IS. And by the way they do make 19" DR's, but thats still not what I ran on. And its obvius you know something about cars you don't know enough.

Oh please... Anyone with a 9 Second Cobra (especially one that can run 9
s on 19" wheels and street rubber) would have track videos... and plenty of them.

I bet you ran out of money after you modded your Cobra, and didn't have enough left over for a cheap video camera... right?

Go try to impress someone who has no clue about 1/4 mile racing.

Oh my god I just shot MGD out my nose!

Oh man it burns, that is some funy ass sh*t. Those are pretty bold statements there buddy!

Maybe he dropped his camera in the toilet, it's really his model girlfriends car, but he has the keys, so it's his, etc... :shifty:

how bout them pictures????

What he said.

And the mod list / time slips too. (not calling you out, just interested)

Wouldn't mind seeing some pics of the Mustang GT and 64 Continental too.

So let me get this straight... You are willing to buy another Cobra and mod it to the 9 second zone just to prove your point to me? Wow, I got to feel honored that you hold my opinion of you in such high regard that you would actually spend $45-$50k modding your car for me... Either that or you are throwing a huge BS challenge in a lame attempt to cover your own befuddled tracks and save some face here...My guess is for #2 though I doubt your master plan will work...

Oh newby, newby, newby... You have so much to learn it isn't even funny. You keep trying though. Maybe one day you will actually convince yourself... I don't think anyone else is being fooled in here.

Hitting 700rwhp on JUST Kenne Bell blower with Cobra??? Been done more than a few times genius... Hell, that power number has been exceeded with a Kenne Bell on built 4.6 2v's as well with no additional power adder. You keep trying though.

How about you show me those 19" DR's. I would like to see who makes em.

I know I said that this thread had run its course for me but what can I say. I was a little bored and figured I would see what creative new things were posted in here by the "master racer" himself.
