LaserSVT 98 White Pearlescent Progress Thread

FOCK!!!!! Focking car! Ugh. Just ugh. I know wear and tear is just the name of the game but damn every time I get there something fuggs it up! I got my car insurance bill yesterday which was expected only I thought I was good till July, not June. So there goes $700. Fine, I deal with it and figure out what I gotta cut back on to still do the blower the first weekend in June. $1 burgers it is! :lol:

Well I just went to have my tires balenced and wouldnt ya know it, the POS Generals I have in the front have belt showing on the inner edges. I was going to get new Yoks for the front this Summer anyway but again, latter this summer. So there goes another $400. :(

Fuggin car. I dont know why I tried to tackel this damn blower install.

Ill figure it out Jeff. All I gotta do is not get the wideband now, only pay one month insurance and pay the balence in July, default on the electricity but I can catch up next month and I have NEVER ONCE been late so they should cut some slack, dont buy any new razors or get that haircut, use less TP which shouldnt be hard as my plans are to cut out breakfast and dinner.

That will leave me with your money, dyno shop money, misc parts needed money while we are there, gas ....... and thats about it! :lol:
 
This is why most people dont try to do that much sh*t to there DD. Everytime i modded my 02 GT 2 other things had to be addressed with it.

did you get a print of the alignment from TexasStar? U should go over there and ask WTF!! And show you're tire wear, maybe get the alignment $ back if anything
 
Because Sapperfire, they aligned to spec. I was the one that wanted to see if mileage would go up with driving lower and I paid the price. My fault, I should pay.





Just like hitting the blown truck tire this morning was my fault. :(

i was gonna say thats alignment wear, but now i see why (and thats why i dont like the module8, or what ever one you have) one click out of adjustment and you can do some serious damage fairly quick
 
I'm actually starting to feel bad for you Bill!! Oh, wait, blower going on, back to just jealous!! Hopefully just cosmetic or did it penetrate?

It went all the way to bare metal. :( I wll clean it tonight then put touch up paint over it so it dont get surface rust but it will be a few months till it gets fixed.
 
Do yourself a favor and buy a cheap DD, you may think its pointless but at least you wont be repainting the damn car every other month. Soon youll have spent enough on paint you could have built a forged shortblock.
 
LOL hell im trying to sell the 68 for 1000.00 with no luck....i guess nobody wants a car with no floor boards...I love the picture of the snowflake rim converted to what im guessing as a grinding wheel station!!

And yes it's a vice stand, can't see paying good monies for a vice stand, when I could just make one.

Like you I have been trying to move the Turbo Coupe for months, eversince the economy croaked, I can't give 5hit away.

I figured someone would want a great running car that got 27mpg for $1500,but I guess I'm wrong, so I have a few choices to go with:

A) Put a Circle-D converter in it, Big's and Skinny's, cam, 3" serwer pipe, my boost controller, and remove the front sway bar, and a Bo Port Cam and braket race it.



B) Pull the drivetrain and stuff it into my other kiddo's 79' Mustang Coupe and let him drive it to school, and 5hit can the Turbo Coupe body.



C) Trade it for a 65' -68' ustang Coupe to turn into a HSR Vintage Race Car.



D) Keep sitting on it.

Damit Jeff! I am trying to figure out what body part I can sell or rent to get $160 together for that clip. Worse possiable time to find it. If the guy would have posted it next week then I would buy it...... then again you would prolly sell the car and then I would have a front clip all for not! :lol:
