Yup. I needed one side wheel bearing and somehow got talked into replacing both sides. Then my good friend went the extra mile and made them extra pretty. I think hes gonna molest me when I stay at his house this weekend. :lol:

Because of this nicety, you will be delivering a package for me that involves two Cobra R's, latemodel 5.0, and a lot of other really cool stuff, thank you for helping me out I really appreciate it.

You will recieve the package before you leave on Sunday, to be delivered on your lunch break next week, it is imperrative it reaches it destination, you really don't want me to have to come up there, and deliver it myself.

BTW, you might ought to take your camera with you when you go.

No code, he has a mission that he unfortunately has to do (favor for me), I really don't have the time to drive up close to where he works to deliver it, and it's cheaper to send it with Bill.

But he'd swear I'm sending him to a car candy store, so just incase he can't remember everything he saw while he is there I suggest he takes his camera so he can put the pictures in his "Spank Bank" for use later.

Gonna be doing some hood cutting today to ge the blower to clear. Looking at it it seems hard to believe the 2nd gen guys havent had the k-pmember dropped. Sure is tight!! Lsc8, thanks for the pics! Should help with the bracke making.

Did you have any trouble with the middle hood rib hiting the snout? Where did you get the feed for your bypass valve? Did you take it before or afer the blower?

Bill might be the POO, but I sure as hell am not, I'm just another regular ole' dude that enjoys what I do, because the smile that it puts on a customer's face is priceless.

Alright ya'll. She made 384/398 on the dyno but is running way too much boost and then there are other issues. It will make a little more hp with much less boost but I have more stuff to buy first. Need 8 coils and he said get the MSDs as he uses them on his high HP Cobras. Also need a larger fuel pump or a Boost-A-Pump. He likes the BAPs. Also the IAC is sticking so that needs replacement and it seems a crickett is living in my idler pully so another part to get. I also need an under drive crank pully as I am making a chit ton of boost. I have seen a 17 psi spike so far but WOT will net 16 psi! :eek:

Aren't the Kenne bell's for the 96-98 cobras only supposed to put out 6-7psi with the pulley it comes with

That is the dumbest post I have ever read. Sorry mang but really, thats just so wrong.

Lets look at why the post is so dumb.

"Suffocate the air" Where do I start. So like stuff a sock in the throttle opening? Maybe some duct tape around the filter?
How about I just put a smaller crank pully on it and drop the boost?

"Cut back fuel" OMGWTFBBQ!!1!! You want me to take a high boost application and INTENTIONALLY run it lean? Seriously?

"Put a stock air box" Yeah, cause the Cobra intake tube comes ANYWHERE NEAR THE STOCK BOX OPENING! Plus the tube is smaller on its coupling. I wanted to use the stock box but its not gonna happen.

"use stock maf" Again, really? That meter cannot come near reading this cars flow. It does over 950 cfm and hasnt been spun to 6 grand yet! I would get to half throttle and the thing would peg and the 42 lb injectors would dump fuel into the engine and foul all my plugs.


Your suggestions would all kill my car! :mad: Go back to humping your free-on.
 
So what is the plan after the car is sorted out? Headers? Better transmission? Forged stroker? We know you have something in mind.
