I just got back from my Philippine vacation, and my leather looks great. I can't wait to get them on. I have to buy myself some hog ring pliers and hog rings. I took my old leather to be used as a pattern. Here are some pics.

Front seats and back seats. I plan on doing the door handles, but not now. Nothing done with the carpet or rear quarters. There's no leather on the rear quarters.

If anyone is interested in getting leather set, here's how it breaks down.

Complete (German) Leather Set $600 That's a single color. Two tone is an extra $50.

I'll have a sample set of set of Gen 1 covers ready in three months. Gen 2 seats are ready now with a three week lead time.

If anyone wants a complete set in vinyl, It's $350.00 Two tone is an extra $50. Same lead time applies.

I LOVE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dude & they did it right. The stitching in red is awesome. Just like I did with my 2 toned seats as well. CONGRATULATIONS! Sometimes sacrificing luxury for sport is well worth it as in the case of both of our cars. SWEET!

I plan on putting these on next weekend after I buy some hog ring pliers and hog rings. I'll keep everyone posted. Gen 2 owners interested in a set, let me know. I have to send my guy samples of the gen 1 interior, next month after I get a set out of the junk yard, so orders for gen 1's will not be taken yet.

I'm glad my uncle runs a shop over in Decatur, AL. I can have my front seats done for free at anytime, with any type of leather I wanna use. I'm sure he would use whatever is best but luckily I don't need anything done at this point and I don't abuse what he does and can do though. He has been doing auto and home upholstery for nearly 40 years now.

As for the black and red, that would be kinda hard for me to get used to. Just have to see it installed I guess.

Nothing like what GMAN is offering or says he can get. Like I said, I could ask to have something done and more than likely get it done free, maybe the two front seats but this shop has been in business in Decatur for a long long time. They mainly do home furnishings but some auto stuff does come in from time to time. That place was opened up in 1955 lol. Barrett's Upholstery is the name of it.

They stay covered up constantly with a lot of antique stuff and other things. Most of the time, only two are working and if the flow is too much, he has some old schoolers that come make extra money. That's why I have never bothered asking to have anything done but the other reason is because all of my leather is good, not perfect but an easy 8.5 out of 10 everywhere and the drivers seat is probably a 7 out of 10 and unless it was ripped up, he ain't gonna mess with it just for the fun of it. Not sure what type of business GMAN had his done at but maybe they are thriving for business and cutting deals.

He had it done in the Phillipines, so like...20 kids did it in about 10 minutes
