i wouldn't rule a car out just because it is AWD, but it has to be the right kind of AWD, not like the front heavy design in the MKS, i would love it if there was something like the STI AWD system, motor facing the right direction, very strong, and just a fun ass car to beat the hell out of, the knob that allows you to crank the power more to the rear wheels is a nice touch also!

I... hate.... crossovers.... I don't know why, but they just rub me the wrong way. I like the new explorer though. I think building it on the Taurus platform was a great idea. No reason to have it on a truck platform considering people only used it for grocery getters. I would consider one of those for a DD along with the LS (if I wasn't a poor college student :p)
 
:shifty: you know, since the edge sport uses the same 300hp V6 as the pony, if you could modify a supercharger kit to fit the edge would be pretty neat :D

something about that storm trooper look just looks kinda sweet
 
you can bet that a centri blower wont fit for sure with the motor being pointed in the wrong direction, but it would be pretty sweet to have a kenny bell, whipple, or hell especially a roushcharger and a new hood with a little bump!!! I'm telling you, there is a lot of "ifs" but done right, I'm feeling it like a blind man reading.
 
I have yet to find a car that will replace my LS that I can afford. Only thing I'd consider is an Audi A8 or Jaguar XJ as of now. I'm very picky on interiors and it seems cars have less and less wood in them and that's one of the reasons I love the LS.

The new explorer for 2013 can be had with ecoboost.

Not so sure about it being based off the taurus...but it looks nice as hell in person.

yeah, I've driven one of these turds, and even with a turbo, that 4cyl doesnt even have enough power to safely pull out in front of Amish traffic, its sooooo underpowered its not funny, now allegedly, there is supposed to be a 2013 sport model that will have the real ecoboost motor (3.5 with twins)

yep its off of the D4 platform (flex, mkt) which is a modified versions of the D3 platform (ford 500, taurus...) so its kinda based off of the Taurus platform.
 
I think i've made a decision...

I know i've posted a couple of cars, but i've literally been dreaming about this car...i have to have it. Hopefully I can give it to myself as a gift for Xmas 2013.

I almost really dont want them to redesign the pony yet!!! its one of the meanest looking mother truckers out right now!

am I the only one that thinks ford should make a ecoboost twin turbo 5.8L
