Well like most of my race stories, this one does not take place after leaving work lol.
I was coming back from looking at the new Spectra5 and than got some things for the LS at Advance Auto. As I pulled out of the parking lot I was in the right hand lane and there was a 300M aways back and the light ahead went yellow and there was a car infront of me so as I go to whip into the left hand lane the 300M flys up but too late, I was over already so the dude was than looking abit mad about it so I knew after we got going he would whip over after getting past the car beside me and go for it so I figure "hey, the road ahead is clear as a brand new windshield so why not."
So the light goes green and I take off just a titch bit quick and sure enough the 300M moves over and is on it so I punch it FT and he does not even catch me until I hit a xxx and let off. He proceeded to fly by and than slam on the brakes like he was saying he had me but if I had kept on it there was no way he was coming back from his 3 cars down. Felt good to clean it out and was nice taking out another Dodge product and a decent one at that.
I than lost him in traffic, I guess his ride is not great in the handling department either.
As to why I was looking at a Kia, I just felt like it. On my way to AA I sat infront of the dealer and it looked like a neat little hatch. So I went in and test drove one, they had no manuals but it was nice, I could probably see myself in one although I'd want a manual. Again, I have a wide range of tastes, not everything has be a lincoln-ish car. Before the Lincoln I had nothing but cars some, like on here think are crap cars but I loved all of them and none gave me a problem and I actually miss a few of them that do not compare to the LS in features and what not. I do not measure a car by its heated/cooled seats and crap, if you have to go that far in when saying why you like this are that to feel better about the x amount of money you just spent than, well, you just keep telling yourself its a better ride lol.
As for the 300M, not sure of the year, looked like a 2000 or so.
