Here is a pic of that spoiler on a 03+, there are more in my pic gallery. I was fortunate to buy this and I would pay the $399 for it again, its well worth it.

Really does look good!!

Ah yes, the great American way also at work getting the price from $399 to $250. I still think $250 is too high for an unpainted spoiler. If some guy has 80 of these then i'd say he's way overstocked. I think even at a really low price you'd have a hard time selling all 80 pcs in a decent amount of time. I think the fact that its a discontinued car would also drive the price a little lower. If enough people can show interest and get the price lower than $250 then i too would consider one, i'll say $199 is the magic number if 20+ people were able to buy. I have wanted one of these for a long time but lately have been convinced that the M3 spoiler painted for $60 is a great addition to the LS's rear deck.

You have to remember that the spoiler was $353.49 when it was available. This guy bought all the left over stock from somewhere and was holding them hostage. But I think he wants to move them, like you said, The reason for the $399 price at first was my cost of the item. When I told him I would by a bunch he made me the deal.

You know how it works, you always get a break, from any company, the more you buy from them.

No one is telling you have to buy the spoiler, but $250 is reasonable for any car. When a car goes out of production and parts become harder to find, the price always goes up, no down. Just look at paintings and classic cars. They always increase when the availability is not there any more.

I've never owned a stick on spoiler before. Anyone ever had one begin to peel off or anything like that? Not doubting the quality..but always wondered about them over screw on spoilers. I'm old school I guess.

I felt the same way when I got the spoiler from Bill at Team Ford, I also talked to a friend who is a BMW tech and said their cars are the same way.

There is enough tape to cover a large surface area. I had the car up to 130mph and was scared the spoiler would rip off, but nothing happened.

I tried to already take it off once and it cant be done (w/o damaging the trunk lid) unless you have a heat gun to heat the tape and loosen the adhesive.

If you use the right tape and do it correctly, you won't have any problems. I would use 3M Molding Tape for this application. This is a double sided foam tape that sticks like CRAZY! In fact, its used as the adhesive on most OEM emblems. I used it for my LS rear door sill plates and it is used on my OEM V8 fender badges. It was also used to hold my satellite antenna. Those items arn't going anywhere.
