the LS is too heavy for those wheels. and they are forged, so they crack, not bend..
been cracked and repaired already. and that was on a lighter gen 1 SHO.
really need to be on a sub 3000 pound car.

The factory 16" wheels are forged and weigh less than 20#. Forged wheels are much stronger than cast.

i didn't say forged wheels are weak. and the stock wheels are designed with the LS weight in mind.
if you mount a wheel on a car heavier than it is designed for, there will be problems.
if it cracked on a 3200 lb SHO, mounting those on a 3600+ lb LS isn't going to be doing anyone any good.

You're assuming the weight of the vehicle cracked the wheel. There could be many reasons it cracked. From the pictures the wheel looks cast to me. Anyway...........

I was able to pick up those Tuscana XJ8 wheels for $275.00
I should have these on after the snow stops!!
