Mlara1129's C-List Finds

All rock solid sound points above.

Devil's advocate time. The what if is, what if the driver does not show up with wood? I am not prepared to have to carry wood in my trunk. As much as I love it, lowering is not that high on my list of must do's until the Stance Coilover situation Bull is working out is resolved. All I truly care to lower mine is about 1 1/4 inches and no lower.

What's going on with stance coilivers for the ls ?

Check the thread on them and you will be able to catch up. In short, camber issues that is going to take custom upper control arms to resolve(if memory serves me right).

They ALL do. The company needs each truck to be able to pick up a 'Vette or a lifted 4X4. Even a stock-height LS will need the wood to prevent the front bumper from dragging. Stock, the LS is lower than most other cars.

Obviously, it's your car and do what YOU want. I'm just saying that needing a tow shouldn't influence your decision on lowering. BTW, the Eibach springs lower the car about an inch or so.

i use this guy... no damage yet

For the record, they all "should". I will leave my bad experiences with those who did not to a rant on a different day.

Emailed them....but everyone I email doesn't seem to want to respond.....I do have to admit it does sound like a scam when I tell them I'm from Iowa....lol

Then dont. I'm assumig you want him to ship? Why send some complete stranger money when you can send an lvc stranger some money to pick them up for you. We are everwhere in the US, I'm sure there is someone local to a listing you're interested in.

If I find a set that I just have to have that's what I'm guaranteed to do, I also know folks in many states.....and love a road trip. :D

Edit: Also of late I've been seeing a bit more where people just don't respond to their CL ads. I had a line on a LS with bad cats for under 2K and asked for pics and stopped responding, He contacted me from my CL ad for LS parts. I have the same thing with guitars too. Ive bought many over CL but had people not respond/sell out from under me when a deal has been struck.......people I tell yeah.

sweet, do it! These are still one of my favorite wheels. Perhaps tied for first with my barcelonas.

Not sure if i'm a big fan of chrome on your color LS but thats a heck of a deal for them. Especially for the chrome ones. Theres someone selling a pair of rears (silver) locally for $400.

I couldn't pass them up for the price.... $600 shipped

Everytime I hate my LS, it's so easily to fall back in love with these cars upon seeing another LSE/06 for sale. Urgh.

And then COPs started to go bad....then the timing chain tensioners broke....and the drivers side window fell....and then it overheated.

It is funny that the year with the most "concerns" was Car of the Year. Did it win again in any subsequent years?
