I've said 1 too many times that I am choosing not to ever get an LS again because of my experience, not because the car itself. It had 178k miles on it, I'll NEVER again own a car with that many miles, I don't consider ANY car with that many miles "reliable". I don't think they're bad cars at all, but my experience has left me with never wanting to personally own one again.
 
Perhaps when it comes to the power plants. The electronics, Airmatic and whatnot is a different story.
 
it does resist water well... I bet not one drop made it inside...impressive!

I can think of 1000 cars ill have over that mark 7 for the price. And we don't like marks on this side. For the most part.

I would get a Mark VIII because of the drivetrain and interior. TBH they are not that attractive on the outside, but I've seen a few done right that look killer. Like I said, drivetrain, not exterior.
