And this is why I periodically mention, don't pound on the new people without giving them a chance to learn the way things are done here. You wouldn't expect a toddler to just jump on the terlet and know what to do, would you? I've noticed new people have started staying longer when they aren't attacked on their first post. Some of these newbs have been pursuing new projects, which was a complaint of the older members; why isn't anyone doing anything new?
