Hello, my names Cody and I just moved out to Colorado Springs not to long ago and have been slowly learning more and more about the Lincoln world. I'm a big Ford guy but had no idea of all the modifications that you Lincoln folk do to your cars. Recently I saw a white 95 Mark VIII (think it was mid 90's) with 03 SVT wheels driving like a bat out of hell. Was really all over the place but it kinda got me interested in Lincolns. I have been researching these cars and am pretty amazed.

I drive a 2001 Cobra Convertible with 606rwhp (ran out of pump and still has a lot left in it) and an 04 F150 Lariat. Just wanted to say hi.

Welcome to LvC. 94m5 is a great guy and im sure if you hang around long enough he will get you just as addicted to these cars as we all are.

So you want one now, huh?

I'm Mikes friend with the black LSC...the one who was present when we got pulled over coming back from the dyno. I know you remember that!

guess i'll have to have a talk about abuseing my mark. i still have the title. but can't complain to much. 94m5 is my son .welcome to the web site. i have paid my fair share of road tax so cannnot scream so loud.

Dammit Kyle.....

I was hoping to keep this going for a bit.

Everyone...meet Cody. He ain't lying about the Cobra. One helluva cool guy and a good person to have on the site too. I'm hoping to go up to the ford festival up in grand junction with his cobra and the VIII this summer.

And he was jokin about the driving erradicly too Dad.

Lol.

I guess I can post stats and pics now.........Dammit Kyle.....lol
What up Mike, was waiting to see what you would say. Wasn't expecting your dad to be here or else I would have said something worse about you and the Mark. Haha.

Nice Cobra and welcome to the site! Sounds like you already know some of the good people. Now that ive posted you have met the bad people. :D

Not a yellow fan but I respect a nicely modded Kewbrah. Ive had 4 of the bastards and loved all of them.

All together I just hate Fords from when I first stepped into them way back in the day. To many engines that all had issues but then the MOD came out and proved itself to be worthy to an extent.

The Cobra's are great cause you can make stupid power out of em, just wish they weighed as much as the Fox body mustangs did :(

Kinda part of the reason I went import with the Subaru's...aside from the AWD part :p

I think 94m5 is an :q:q:q:q:q:q:q. :D

94m5 still converting the world one mark at a time.

94m5 got my original Gen 1 when the trans wet the bed so he covers the entire country it would seem :shifty: :D

White on grey with bullets? If so that is the one his buddy dave now drives.

Sorry, nice looking cobra as well Cody. Mike has told me about it a few times.

Needs 03/04 side skirts to complete the Terminator visual conversion. The 03/04 hood, nose and lights are the best looking parts Ford ever made for the New Edge body IMHO. The side skirts make the car look meaner, lower and wider then the standard 99-04 skirts.

Is that a 500/1 running 10W6's or 10W3s? I like that old 450/4, those were killer amps. I run a 500/5 in my system. JL makes one of the cleanest sounding amps out.

Ive noticed you dont have anything to pull vac on the crank case. I thought that was very important for the DOHC heads at higher RPM? I just finnished up an Eaton conversion on a 99 Cobra and he wanted dual PCV filters like that but I had insisted on pulling vac and installed a Steeda oil seperator from the intake to the drivers valve cover. Hope I didnt have him waste $50 on that thing.

Do you have the head cooling mod? I would have to assume at that power level you are now running forged pistons and rods? What was your finnished CR?

Guess I should have posted all the mods that go along with it

welcome to lvc. i'm another one of the a-holes on here, at least i have been told by some. i'm not really though, i never liked the yellow they put on the mustangs but on certain ones it looks good. i like yours, although with 600 hp the last one i would want is a vert!!! the metal roof isnt much better if you flip at 100 mph, at least your head wont look like corn beef hash if you flip, the verts scare me!! anyway, good looking rides, welcome to the board, and hopefully maybe you'll consider a mark VIII in the near future, even for a nice daily driving pimp mobile!

not sure,my thought was a low shoulder on the left side of i95 and someone pulled out in front of him. I'd have never just swerved like that unless it was a truck. f.h.p.. almost useless on this one
