Put the amp on the backseat. Or you could mount it behind the sub box you molded, pull back the trim there should be an empty spot in there. That's where one of the factory amps for the THX system was mounted from factory.

So I should move the amp from somewhere that its hidden to the back of the seat?
I will leave it hidden under the trunk floor. You realize the spare tire cover goes on top of it right? It looks like its just sitting on the tire, but its actually on its own frame that flips up to remove the spare

I would move it somewhere where there was airflow or install fans like jinx8402 did.

If it begins to get warm, I'll wire in a fan and relay :) The problem with that amp is that it is very thick. It won't fit under the seats like my digital JL, so it had to go somewhere else. It's an ugly amp, so there's no way I will move it anywhere in the open. The spare tire works quite nicely in hiding it and keeping it out of the way.

UPS man dropped off a present today..
Not having a gain knob was driving me crazy, so I ended up buying a whole new amp. This one will be going under the drivers seat and matches the one under the passenger seat. I'm in love with these little JL amps.. Serious powerhouses for their size..

Well, everything on the interior is now finished up.. got the new digital amp and gain knob installed. I'm quite happy..

Bass Knob. Allllmost looks factory. Was a tight fit behind the panel, but worked out very well.

I couldn't find a trunk liner that I liked, so I just wrapped the factory one in matching speaker carpet. Should keep it nice and clean.

It also has route avoidance, which is extremely handy when you are trying to avoid the ghettos, like in St. Louis..

The green lines are roads I have driven on.. it keeps track for you, if you wish..

Nice, that's one clean install.

Thank you.. It sounds absolutely incredible.. It's about half the system that's in my Cobra, but sounds just as clean up to ear piercing levels, although the Cobra goes louder.

This is my first set of Focal's, and I'm very impressed.
