my advise, do everything your self, this will keep any prices low (well as low as this car can get)
my fiance was a little upset set at first when she saw how much I spent on my AR, then i had to refer to my list that i was keeping (my radar works just as good, but i always keep my reconnaissance to myself) of all of the pairs of shoes, pants, shirts, flip flops, mannies, petties, and $170 haircuts that i didn't get the last six months, needless to say, could have actually spent a bit more!

If she really loves you she will just get mad and then get over it an hour later. I've been told countless times "If you spend anymore money on your stupid car I'm going to leave you". Yet I can't seem to get rid of her and she always wants to go everywhere in my car. Funny how that works. She has had more then enough opportunities to leave lol

Hahaha ... Welcome and yeah, under the radar here as well.
I'm supposed to be finishing the living room and putting spliced brick on
the new (3yr old) fireplace surround I build ... and the damn floor needs upgrading to.
Exactly. My gf and I have an understanding. She doesn't bitch about the car or cigars, and I don't bitch about her shopping.
I just remodeled the kitchen in March. That's been keeping her happy so far.

Hell no. She has only once and it was a two mile drive down the street. I was drunk back in my college days and she was afraid to leave it parked where it was overnight. She got a pass for that time.

Haha your probably right there. She already wants to take the LS everywhere. All of a sudden her 2011 Honda CRV isn't so nice.

I feel you on that one. I got my other half a 2010 Subaru Impreza and she still wants to go everywhere in my car instead.

3yrs ago and I still don't have the spliced brick on the face of the fireplace surround, nor is the floor back in.
... but I got me a new LS with some mods on it already !!! Hahahaha

My wife complains about the LS. Till she wants to drive it somewhere.

Bit the wife is happy. Looks great. Looking forward to seeing the finished product.
I put in hardwood floors for my wife 2.5 years ago. Brazilian mesquite. She loves them. Now, she wants granite counter tops for the kitchen.
Buddy and I did the living room, dining area, hallway, foyer, coat closet, and linen closet in two days.

Has it slowed down for you at all yet? Its still summer for me. Best September ever. Hasn't slowed down at all. Right now, I have trips/loads planned on me till the 15th.
BTW BigRigLS and I work for rival companies.

This is good stuff. So next week I'm going to come home with 35% tint on my car, paint that accent wall in the living room she's been asking for, then take her to Red Lobster for dinner.

Yeah, a bit of a slow down but I get the big jobs still.
I'm currently loaded for very west of Canada again. Leaving 4AM Monday.
Have 5100, 17200, 1810, 1500lbs and one single skid locked/loaded in and picking
up a little 500lbs on the way at Timmins, Ontario. 3488KM to final dest. (oil country)
The two larger ones on the nose are going into warehouse at the same place/time.
Unloading, resetting then backhauling a load of hot tubs coming home following week.
Keeping busy but yeah the summer help has been cut already.
I'd say maybe a month more or so and I'll be running freight US bound full time for the winter again.
got 8 new drives just the other day. happy about that.
