Nokya cosmic bulbs or HID's?

If you dont have HID housing ( which I assume you dont ) just get those Nokyas.

No I dont have the housing but doesn't the conversion kit have everything you need? Like the xenon from ls koncept

You need HID housings or it will not be as effective.

Every retrofit I saw so far on any car with a non HID housing has been purely aesthetics. With a good halogen bulb you are just as well off as far as function.

People will argue this and thats purely opinion. But I can say in most cases they have not experienced a decent halogen bulb.

oh ok.Thanks. Lets see how they look.I dont really need more lights since I live in the city, I just like how nice the ls looks with clean white lights insteds off reg yellow.

Which would you recommend then, Nokya or Sylvania?

So you have the cosmic white bulbs right? They have the artic white and cosmic white. But didn't know which one had that blue in them.

cosmic white 5000K 9145 bulb I have

Nokya artic white 8000K (Deep blue)
nokya cosmic white look like HID 5000K ( white with a light tone of blue )
Siverstar ultra is white 4100K ( white with a light tone of yellow)

I sugest Nokya because you can have 9145 bulb for you fog light than Silverstar you can't

Oh man, thats nice. Thanks. Do you remember what size the Nokya's were for the fogs. The bulb is 9145 but that number isn't the nykoa sizes. I read that a xenon hid bulb thats 9145 is also an H10. Are these the same for halogen bulbs? Is a 9145 the same as an H10?

and did you have to get a heavy duty wire harness for the nokya or did you just get the bulbs?

DONT GET NOKYAS!!! I got the cosmic whites with the plug/play wiring harness and the whole unit got fried after a month. I still got some burn residue on the headlights :p and that's on the LOWS

Oh. Well what did you put on after they fried?

brand new OEMs which are way brighter than the OEMs I had originally..then again bulbs wear down overtime.....

I'm planning on getting LED angel eyes installed once I decide how I'm gonna have them activated and what else I'm gonna do to headlights.

oh nice. Well i wish you would've told me sooner cause i ordered them a little bit ago. oh well. Guess i just have to try them out for myseld now.

just keep the receipt cause I lost mine so it was a waste of money.

Btw what's the point of HIDs...thats what hi-beams were made for.....seems like a redundant way of doing things :p

well it just looks cleaner. Yeah it is kinda pointless having hids, its like having your high beams on all the time but hids are whiter and brighter, thats why i was going for the Nykoa. Cheap compared to HID's but you still get that whiter nicer light.

I have no problem with my Nokya with no hevy duty harness.. It hould be because they are a lower wattage ? for the fog light they are H10

well they might differ but for the amount I paid and itonly lasting 1 to 2 months i'm NEVER buying Nokya ever again. Umnitza still worries me cause my dealer has had one of his clients have a brand new bmw and the angel eyes short circuited when the car was off and it caught his car on fire and burned it to the ground...keep in mind this was the aftermarket predator angel eyes...hope the leds are improved

How long have you had them for?

The led were nice. I saw them, dont remember were, i think on here. They were nice.

Alax, Petes is the one out of how many that had this issue. When he said dont get Nokyas dont listen to him. For him to be the only person to have a problem with Nokyas ( for some strange reason ) its not justified for him to claim they suck.

I have been running Nokyas for a long time till I recently got these Bimmian Xenesis bulbs I have now.

Just dont get the higher wattage Nokyas or make sure you get a heavy duty harness.

The foglights look good but it looks like you have poor light output (just by looking at the ground in front of your car).

I have had a hid setup in my headlights and foglights for about 4 years now with no problems, so I would SUGGEST going with hid's but it's your car. Those new bulbs jwerner has look really good though
