I bought a pair of Nokya for the fogs, high and low beams about a year ago. There great just changed one of my fogs after it burned out but other then that no issues, Looks a lot better then the regular oem

Pete your such a tool. do you know how many cars come with OEM (that means factory item btw) HID's now-a-days? better output is always better when driving at night. the bulb itself is not enough stand-alone however, you need the correct housing.Btw what's the point of HIDs...thats what hi-beams were made for.....seems like a redundant way of doing things
FYI i've had 9005's HID's on my Gen1 for at least 4 yrs now.
I ordered the wrong bulb size!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I bet you can sell the ones for the gen 1.

THat doesn't explain anything. You're calling me a tool because I say it's easier just to use your HIs instead of just putting in a HID kit on the lows. And I KNOW new cars have an HID option but that's as much of a fad thing than anything else. No different than the Daytime running lights of the BMWs, Porches, Audis, etc it's all there to catch an eye and prove no purpose. Or how about lambo doors? It's all a fad and if you have Xenons which are the HID upgrade for new cars that's gonna catch eyes because you're blinding the fool in front of you

well i went to pick up new high beam bulbs for my gen 1 today and bought the nokyas. while i was there i remembered i had bought the yellow nokyas for my fog lights about 2 years ago and a week later the glass broke off of one and melted itself to the clear plastic lens. now im worried about putting these in my headlight housing. has anyone ever had an issue like this or was it just a random act of bad luck?
Okay dude, now you're just talking out your ass. Projector HID's from the factory are light years ahead of standard halogen in light output.
Now, 12000K HID retrofit kits on the other hand, do not offer near the useful output of factory HID reflector assemblies, or especially HID projector lights.
There are many reliable sources that will confirm my statements. hidplanet.com for one. Check it out.
Pete you are an idiot. Somebody with their high beams on will blind you more than someone with a hid setup in the low beam. If you don't know what you are talking about, which is 99% of the time, then just shut up. You make yourself look more dumb with each post that you write.

Trust me it was.
The first two are with the oem on the left side and the Nokya bulb on the right side.The third one is the Nokya's on the lows and oem on the fog. The difference is more notoceable in person. The oem's were yellow and nokya's are white with a tad of blue in them. In one of the pictures the oems look white, weird.

Thanks.I go them from lskoncepts. They are pretty cheap on ebay and its free shipping. I found some on some other site and they were pretty cheap too but i dont know how much shipping was. I say try ebay unless you dont trust it.Yeah painting the grill is next

I just bought these bulbs from Alax7. I know i need to upgrade the harness on the lows. Do I need to upgrade the fog harness also?

Wow I was just thinking about the same thing the other night and then somebody finds a thread on it. I've been looking into getting 5000k hids but technically it's illegal in North America and there will be a lot of glare. So I decided to look into some of the better halogen bulbs out there. I was looking at the Nokya bulbs too. I also looked at the Hoen bulbs and pictures of them and they look pretty dam good too. I think I'm going with the Hoens. Phllips also has a bulb that's looks pretty bad azz too. So right now I've scratched hids off the list and I'm just going with one of these bulbs. Check out the Phillips bulb.

IMO you should have went with Hoen bulbs. They are so close to my HID's that people think they are HID fogs. I think Hoen is hands down the best non HID bulb you can buy. I try other bulbs & was unhappy every time, but with Hoen I don't think you can go wrong or get better without true HID.
Of course this is just my opinion & no I don't work for them...
