Damn how did you get metal in your eye?Well,if the sun is below your tint strip not even 35% on the w/s will let you drive without pulling your visor down.The optometrist will know if you need a tint sticker or not,but you won't get to choose the shade of tint.If you get it without the prescription I don't think you'll have to worry about cops,because they don't seem to bother Lincolns that much from my experiences,oh and it also helps to have a clean record.You should just go for the 35% and you'll stare extra long after you get out of it

Took the running boards off my truck, an a flake got in there. Not sure if it was metal, rust, dirt or what but damn it sucked. By the time I got to the hospital it was already out but I was still feeling something.
Only been pulled over for speeding. I've had tinted tail and headlight shades on my truck got pulled over for that at night, no ticket. Been pulled over with tint for speeding without a ticket too. Passed state cops with tint without a problem. I think if I was driving something resembling a young pups car I'd have more problems.

Here is my 2000 LS, I bought it on 10/20/11 unfortunetly the previous owner hit a deer. Its also a 5 Speed.

I plan on fixing her up, I think im better off just getting a new hood so hopefully I find one for cheap. and the fender could be fixed, as far as headlights I think im gonna go with the Ebay ones.

Aahhhh that's the most irritating feeling when sheet like that happens.I hate to say,but there really is a car profiling for cops.Lincolns are just under the radar,because they're classy looking cars and not expected to have young people behind the wheel.It sounds like you'd be just fine with the w/s tint,it actually just sounds like my experiences I've had with a couple of local cops.I was just pulled over a month ago strictly for my w/s(I didn't have enough time to roll the windows down),he ask why it was tinted and why not just wear sun glasses.I literally told him that sunglasses feel uncomfortable on my face and no ticket was issued,now I know he won't pull me over for w/s tint again.So if you have time to roll the windows down and slide the moon roof open then do it.The risk is well worth it.....
Shredwin is that Ls converted to a manual or it rolled off assembly like that,either way it's well worth the fix up?Has anyone with an ls converted their AT to manual on here?

M4rk that paint looks immaculate and the de-badged black rear with those red tails look great.
Starch your picture speaks for itself and that all chrome lse grille looks real good with silver.

washed it today, quick wax...it needs a really good detail though. plans, getting the bumpers resprayed (also going to get the chrome on the bumpers color matched), probably color match the grill & reverse light bracket or black, also going to color match the black trim at the bottom of the bumpers & skirts. headlights will be coming apart to remove the amber lense, maybe halo's, & clean up the covers.
6k hid's for the lows, 3500 hid's for the fogs...going to be replacing all the lights with led's after the new year, priority is replacing the tensioners & solenoid pack in the transmission. Also removed the badges on the tails.
Not bad for a car I picked up for 2k, 124k miles.
can't wait to lower it & get some wheels on it...but it's my wifes car so she'll be choosing the rims...I get to do all the work...joy

LOL there was atleast 10 more in the parking lot (limo's), I was gonna try and get them all in the pic..
but the people that worked at the building were watchin me from the windows lol made me feel wierd,
so I just snapped two quick .. there was a gen 1 LSE in the parking lot too
