Looks sharp. I like it. Keep us updated on your mods.

Good luck, the only way I'd tackle that feat is if took the windows out. I have a hard enough time cleaning the windows let alone putting flim on them.

What kind is that anyway? Where from?

Ahhhhh. I guess I need clarification. Sorry for the confusion guys, bull is right - this is matte black vinyl for my entire LS.

It is Oracal 970RA. I researched this a lot and this is the best quality stuff and had great reviews for application. I came across a steal of a deal on this and had to pull the trigger.

I will either be installing over Christmas holidays or in the Spring.

I must say having it here is really tough to not just go out and start wrapping!

Do you have anyone to help you do the wrap? Doing it yourself saves a TON of money, but would scare the hell out of me. I have seen a couple BMW guys who have done it themselves but it can't be a simple job!

Yea I'm doing it alone. I don't really have anyone to help me with my LS things so I am pretty big on the DIYs.

And yea it is all in the labor. I was quoted $3-4K to have it done.

It is all in the patience. Plus I want it done to my standards. Which having OCD means they're pretty high.

Good luck with that.

I personally like the shiny :shifty:

Yea I like the gloss black as well, (I am sure everyone with a black LS would agree, even those who don't have black).

But have you seen a matte LS?

Me either, and I think it has potential to be pretty mean.

Totally thought that was a fat ass roll of tint film.

I thought it was window film since you just have to peel yours all off right? Anyways I though it looked a little funny. The guy who's done my tint uses this for around the rear windows with an intense dot matrix sometimes. Maybe not exact but he said it was black vinyl.

Good luck on the application.

Nope but I want too.. I am tired of gloss black, hopefully this looks awesome and you start another new trend. :shifty:

I know what you mean.

Gloss black is never gloss back. One day and the car is back to dirty. And water spots never want to go away.

I wrapped my refrigerator last night to get a feel for the material and kind of learn how to use it. I think I found a much easier way to apply by the time I got to my last piece.

I have a feeling it is going to look oh so good!

Im very curious to see how this turns out. Do you apply it the same way you would with window tint, or is it like a giant sticker? Anyways I think its a great idea to change some stuff up.

The small chance of me trying this would be eliminated if it's anything like a fathead. I had the block M and I'm just going to guess that it is the most difficult of shapes to hang and take down from a wall by yourself.
