Say what? I'm only about 2 hours out of LA with a laundry list of things I need to get done on the '97. You know you're going to get the urge to work on a Mark while you're out here..... :p

Ive seen the new one on the lincolns they would look sharp.I dont have the key pad anymore,its actually at a friend of mines house,he has my tool box too.i was going to take the power wire from the lock actuator apply it to the solenoid with a diode,so when you punch in the code the door opens instead of the door lock actuator activating, because you will no longer need the lock actuator.
 
WTF Brandon you send me a text saying i cut off the rockers and didnt give you what you needed. i told you 3 times to go out and take pics of stacks car so i could see exactly what you needed. did you ever send me pics? no, you kept crying i was taking too long, so, throw them in the trash now. the :q:q:q:q i do to try and help then all you do is complain i didnt do good enough. would you like me to cut the rockers off my car now for you, maybe i can just slice the car in half and send the whole :q:q:q:qing thing.

Heres the deal, brandon needed rockers to repair rust... you know where they rust and where they don't. He assumed you knew that being that you have had/parted about a million of these things and have been around... He is just annoyed.

Yeah, Kid shouldn't have assumed... probably should have sent you pics but there are a pics on here of where its rusted through and the damage after the car was messed up.

But seriously dude, you gotta take a little of this on yourself... you know what he was looking for...

Either way all said and done we do appreciate you getting the rockers to us man, don't take it that way.

So lets all hike up our collective skirts, hug it out, and build us a car!
 
no i am not putting any of this on me stack, brandon first said he needed rockers, to me, rockers mean under the door, not half the rear wheel well, i part out southern marks, there is no rust. the ones i parted up north were always rotten on the bottom of the front fenders where they bolt to the rockers. i asked brandon multiple times for pictures, i never got any, and if someone asks me for a part, i dont go searching to find out why or where they need something, thats not up to me, all he had to do was snap two pictures, all he did was tell me that he needed the bottom portion of the rear quarters in front of each rear tire, and a little from under the doors, thats exactly what i cut off, i went into the rear wheel wells and 6 inches inside the beack seat pan, so i cant help that it wasnt enough, if he needed wheel well metal he should have said wheel well too, not rocker. i'm not trying to be an :q:q:q:q:q:q:q about it but when i do all that and try to get the :q:q:q:q up there as fast as i can and then get a text saying you cut me off an assload of metal but not what i needed well wtf? i cut off what he asked for, so he should have specified better, absolutely nothing to do with me dude!
 
^^^Agreed 150%^^^ What is it about assuming???? You make an ASS out of YOU AND ME?? All the pics he taken of the process and none of that?? Did he not see the pics that Jamie posted of what he sent?!?!

Don't see this as a big deal but if you want to keep griping then so be it man... We all go out of the way to help each other which is why I love this place:)

So let's let this go... And get back to the build.

He worked on my car, we left yours in the snow bank were it got stuck.
Not sure how that happened...after the booze....I I can't remember anything.
Dam you need gears and trac-lock.

those are awesome, and if your looking for a set the new fords use it too (minus the lincoln tax)
