Soopa go back and update the title of this thread and make it more obvious who should be in here looking. Add in (OH,MI,IN,PA,IL) or something like that

Its highly unlikey I would make it if it was in Toledo again, thats a little out of my driving range.
 
Well that's not what we are asking.... yet! Just need people to OKAY the date first, then we will do a best fit location. So are you in or are you in?
 
Maybe we can sway the Jersey/tri state area people to come if they aren't planning to make the national meet, might be a nice alternative for them?
 
That would be cool if we could. 05Linc_LS_V8 and his brother are out in Pitt which isn't to far of a drive depending on the location. I will text them and see whats up

I'm making a trip later this summer and driving my car out to Baltimore and Ocean City. Maybe some of the NJ/NY/PA members would be down to meet up when I am around. Just a thought
 
I'd like to come if my car is repainted by then. Just put me down for a maybe.
 
I know some of you guys are coming to the mett in STL. You guys are going to be racking up the miles. :eek:

Figured maybe 2~300 miles for this meet.. and 950 for the St.Louis meet if we even have enough cars to further spark my interest. We'll call them healthy miles since 95% of my driving is sh!ty.. err city :shifty:
 
I'm a no. I'm currently at the airport going to finally pick up a 1998 eclipse gst. Gotta drive it all the way from Cali back to Illinois. But I start a new job Monday. They said the schedule is only out a week in advance and I'd hate to ask off on a weekend after only working a month. Also I might be selling the ls so I might not even have one atthe time of the meet.

If everyone wants to meet I don't have any preference on a date. I'm sure the others can be flexible, so June 2nd isn't set in stone. Anytime this summer works for me, I just know I won't be able to go to STL anymore unfortunately.
 
You guys could make a small trip detour to Chicago and come see me. I will be there Thursday through Sunday
 
Most likely. I will be getting in sometime in the afternoon and will have the rest of the day/evening to myself. Friday morning will be all clear too as *I think* the earliest games in the tourny don't start till Friday afternoon
 
Might be beating a dead horse here. Talk has really quieted down on doing this.

Sunday July 15th is the Summit Racing all Ford Show. 9am-5pm. It's $10 to register and be in the show. Some of us went to look around last year and it was enjoyable. I plan to go again and register my car to actually be in the show as long as the weather is nice.
 
Im down for this!! As long as its not a crazy drive. idk if anyone has ever considered haveing a meet in Michigan when the Woodward dream cruise is going on, that would be sweet. But that's not til August.
 
I haven't been to the cruise since high school! Just get one mad line of LS's in the world's auto event.

Still down for a meet.

On a side note, sorry I couldn't get your car in tonight. I will call you when I wake up and you can bring it over.

The exhaust on the G8 got a bit hectic. And ran out of welding wire halfway through the job... Had to drive like 20 miles to find a WalMart that had some Lincoln .035 wire in stock.
