Parting car out. A lot for sale (turbo, bodykit, more...)

Its just funny how alot of people talk about getting one and what not, then when I post a COMPLETE bolt-in application no one is interested.

You know how that goes Cameron. Most that talk the talk never really walk the walk. ;)

Yes, but $6K and you already advertised how you blew the motor as well. As soon as I heard that I will not even bother turboing my LS, I will sell it and buy a Jag Type R after the winter instead.

it's just nervousness - you only were running for 4days (between your dyno run/tune and the engine letting go). of course people are going to be neverous - not of your kit - but of power-adders in general, even if this failure wasn't related to the turbo.

no different than when someone posts a thread of a N2O backfire taking out a car - everyone sitting on the fence about adding N2O to their cars thinks twice.

Alright everyone, the time has come. I am getting rid of all my stuff. I will give a brief description of each thing. If you need more info I would be more than happy to answer your questions.

Lincoln LS Turbo setup - This would come with EVERYTHING you need. Top to bottom. All of the exhaust, intercooler, piping, MAFia, fuel pump, injectors, and even the dyno tune. I used only the highest quality parts and have put TONs of hours into this. There is no one who makes a COMPLETE kit like this. I also have the dyno charts showing everything. This is totally the complete works. I have ALL of the receipts for everything that totals around $6000.00. PM if interested and we can talk about a price..

Painted MClaren Grill - Silver birch, perfect condition. $100 plus shipping.

Painted rear surround - Sliver birch, perfect condition. 75 plus trade for your stock one.

Body kit - I have come to the conclusion that this is a rare body kit which isnt seen often at ALL. Looks similar to the wing west kit but I actually like mine better. There are subtle differences. $600.00 plus shipping.

Lastly,

OZ rally Ultraleggara wheels. - 18x8. 245-50/17. I have spent ALOT of time getting these wheels on my car. These wheels are basically custom fit to the car. The bolt pattern was custom drilled for 108. Backspacing was shaved to fit the car. Also come with nitto INVO tires with 95 percent tread left. The wheels and tires are in PERFECT condition. The best part about them is that the wheels only weigh 15lbs each. You will not find a lighter wheel for the LS. I am asking $1000.00 for them plus your stock wheels and tires. I dont care what shape your wheels and tires are. (my car is going right to the dealer and off to auction).

... I know all of this is brief but I just wanted to get it all out there. PM me if interested in ANYTHING. We can talk.

do you still have the body kit and the rear spoiler? do you also have the Painted MClaren Grill? if yes, PM me soon!!!

Will your turbo kit mount up to a gen 1 V8? I would think at the very least some of the piping would have to change (I'm pretty sure the TB is in different location)

well honestly, you have to take into account the fact that the economy is kinda crappy right now too!

His turbo and IC and so on and so fourth will all work in the first gen. Cam ran piping differently than ILLS has been (not sure better worse or indifferent) but its the same as if you bought the kit from ILLS and had to custom install it yourself. No matter what kit you buy for whatever car, it has to be made just right for your specific car. There is no such thing as a direct bolt on turbo kit. But to answer you question as direectly as I can, it SHOULD be awfully damn close. It'll be different from the FMIC to the TB, but that is the easy part!

I understand that my motor blew quickly. But it has been shown that the turbo works fine on the LS. There is nothing in this setup that is incorrect. I have used ONLY the best parts and manufacturing for my turbo setup. The problem is people dont want to pay for quality. And.... I never really advertised 6 grand. Someone asked, and I responded in the price range I was looking for. I never started a For sale thread with the price.

This kit should fit the gen 1 pretty closely. It might need a LITTLE modification to work.

I think you and some other people are jumping to conclusions here. There are two other turbocharged LS's running around that have not blown their motors and are daily driven. I don't really care if anyone else chooses to turbo their LS but you guys are being way too hasty and skiddish when assuming that it is bad for you to turbo your LS. There are many reasons for an engine to let go that a turbo system has zero affect on.

I think people are over looking that with a few turbo LSs a SC LS and many sprayed LSs running around that it has been proven that the LS can take all kinds of performance mods. ILLS is dead on when he says there is a vast array of unrelated things that could go wrong. After talking to cam about his install and during his install, he did a nice job with it. He had some ideas that were different from what had already been done but they too wouldnt be THE reason for his motor. Bottom line here is these motors can be force fed, and sometimes you just draw the short stick. Cam unfortunately drew the short stick.

Noone backed of off the NItrous when I backfired and blew my intake to hell, this shouldnt deter anyone from a turbo!

+1
I haven't checked the thread lately, but my recollection is that Cam's engine failure had nothing to do with the turbo--it was just one of those things. I also know of at least one N/A LS V8 that blew out the bottom end (there's a thread about it around here somewhere) and one LS V6 that had a con rod stretch and beat the piston into the head, and neither had any significant power adders. The AJV8 is a fairly bulletproof mill, but it's still an imperfect machine built by imperfect people, and, you know, s**t happens. The fact that it happened to Cam's engine doesn't necessarily imply that his turbo setup is a problem.

BODY KIT SOLD!!!

If someone wants the wheels and are local, I can make you a killer deal. Come GET EM!!

(and the turbo.........:))

rear surround still for sale.
