haha, btw i hadn't seen the 2nd page of this thread when i posted and hadn't seen the body damage. i hope you get that straightened out man. at the end of the day their equipment messed your car up, so they should pay.

Thanks, I am really glad I don't see my color on the road that often. Maybe once every couple months and that's it :cool: . I'm assuming you meant Pektel's? Yeah I fricken love his car. I'm glad he is a friend and not an enemy :D. Hopefully when I get to point when I can performance mod mine he will lend me his knowledge??

Yeah I saw that. I was all ready to get it, but I can't find anywhere that says they made the gen 2 LSE bumpers with the chrome strips. And I'm not going to have chrome on the back bumper and not the front. Which really really sucks, because I have not seen a car with that bumper and my paint color. Woulda looked so nice!
 
To my knowledge they didn't make an LSE bumper with the chrome strips. You may be able to add them somehow. I would just paint the chrome on the rear bumper though.
 
Well I washed my car last night and took a few pictures. After the detailing Pektel and I gave it saturday, just washing it yeilds amazing results. Whatcha think? Thanks for the info yesterday Pete!

Pete ( pektel Pete! ) what fenders are you rolling? There isnt much in the rear, you would be better off cutting it yourself rather than paying to have it rolled. Its only a small section that is metal and the rest is plastic bumper and then along the door it pretty much is rolled already.
 
I'm not going to pay to have it done. I'm just going to do what I can. I'm pretty sure in the back it's just hitting the fender well, so I'll just wait for a little while longer, then pull the wheel and cut the spots that are showing wear.

Nic, car looks great! Minus the whole front bumper thing of course. Did the water sheet off nicely when you flooded the surface?

Yeah it did. Looked pretty cool too :). If I wanna put another coat of wax on it, is there a reasonably priced product that you would recomend? Maybe you want to send me a care package of the Rubbish Boys stuff we used last week? :D :D
 
Define "Reasonably priced". Your idea and my idea are going to be different I think. The RBOE as a full pot goes for like 80 bucks. And that's a DEAL in my eyes. GREAT wax.

Lusso Oro is another great one. Not the greatest for durability, but the looks are awesome. Similar to Pinnacle Souveran, but half the price! Lusso Oro goes for about 40 bucks per 8 oz pot.

Natty's blue is also really nice. That will get you down into the 20-30 range.

I could sell you a little jar of the RBOE, but I think you should just buy a whole pot of it. YOu won't regret it, awesome stuff, greta durability, and competes with the waxes that cost 2 grand.
 
Yep. The ones I was talking about specifically are Zymol Vintage and Swissvax Divine. I'm trying to score a sample of Vintage.

But the Vintage is actually pretty cheap, as you can get it refilled - for free - for LIFE.
 
If I paid $2000 for wax with free refills I'd wax my car everyday to recoop the price. Hell, actually if I had $2000 to spend on wax I'd pay someone to wax my car daily. Pete if I ever win powerball orthe lotto I'll hire you to wax my car daily....
 
I'm sure, since you'd have to move to the land of corn and soybeans Indiana! I'm actually sitting here waiting fro the UPS guy to deliver my Meguiars order. I should have stopped him when I saw him at the gas station earlier. Now I'll have to wait until he shows up at 7pm.
 
Damn your front bumper reflects so well I can hardly tell it's there!
