Can anyone tell me what "Police Intersepter" means? It's an emblem on the back of my 95 Lincoln Mark VIII.

Would it have something to do with the concoction that's hooked up to the rear view mirror?
The thing about the "Police Interceptor" is that the Cop car usually had the big engine (Like a stock MK8) in the Ford Crown Vic, along with better suspension, (like a stock MK8). I think its cool, and a well deserved emblem for a Mark VIII-
I thought the intercepter had a extra 20 horse over the regular 2v 4.6?
atleast 2000 PI come with 50hp more , than just C V
The 03 P71 came with 20 more horse then the preveus year
They are not standard, they are optional for the CVPI.dont forget the blue silicone hoses!!!!!
