Since last fall's hub swap and brake upgrade, the hunt was on for a pair of drag wheels for the Lincoln. The thoughts of running the huge FR500s with drag radials wasn't quite so appealing given the weight...

This is what I used to run...
They weighed 29 lbs with the cord showing. LOL :lol:
I scored a set of 15" Weld Draglites and test fitted them before laying down the cash. I ordered a set of Hoosier 27x10.50-15 Quick Time Pro DOT drag tires and had them mounted. They weighed in at...
34.5 lbs. Not quite as lite as the previous combo. The 27" tire is a only a pound heavier than the 26", so I guess the "draglites" aren't as light as the name implies.
With a little grinding , they cleared the rear Cobra brake setup.
So for now at least, we're ready to rumble!
