No the mirrors are controlled by the button on the door. In front of the window switches.

What about the folding mirrors? I always wondered how those were operated. I can't imagine them being manual folding mirrors.
 
What ? There totally manual folding mirrors. These cars weren't that high tech. I wish. Yes to fold the mirror you have to manually push it in.
 
The Japanese spec LS's are power folding but ours are manual yes.
 
Son of a bee sting. I thought they'd be powered but understand them being manual. I've never seen them in person nor have I seen it mentioned on here. Not that I looked, just saying.

I didn't know I had them (bought the car used) until my daughter pointed it out. She was/is very happy!

We have the technology, but we don't want to spend too much.

Automatic folding mirrors would be epic, but an expensive mod. Unless you retrofit another car's mirrors onto our. But the LS's manual folding mirrors are very sexy - I would not want to replace them.


If I had to guess, I would say your car does indeed have heated rear seats, just because it looks to have every option including the rear headrests. Very rare to see a truly fully loaded LS!

Wait what about rear headrests? They aren't standard? I did not know this.

I didnt know until i visited some salvage yards and saw LSes with the wierd headrest "molded" onto the backseat. Mine are removable, but i dont really see how they could be an "option."

My LS has EVERY option hehe...its an 03 tho. I got lucky. When we bought it i didnt know a thing about the LS. I just saw it and said I want that one! Other than obviously the Nav i never really thought about all the options my LS has.

Pretty much the same with me all i knew was that 06 is the best year.
 
If I knew of all the options and found this site before buying my car, I probably would still be looking for a car or be driving a Grand Prix :/

*Edit: that sounds wrong, I just remember those were the other cars I was looking at but couldn't find a decently priced GTP or GXP.

My old Mazda had the mirror control at that spot we were referring.

After a closer look at my LS and the picture of the rear door I reverse the call. Comparing the placement of the window switch on my LS and my wife's (mine, like the picture, has the switch close to the ashtray while my wife's is more centered) I now conclude that this LS does indeed have rear bun warmers.
