I paid The Omen $1000 for his Speedstars and tires. After 3 weeks of excuses about why they haven't shipped.

I get this PM from him.

I will just go ahead and send you the 970.00 back to you for the wheels. I will have to send it back in a few increments because I don't have the lump sum at once if that is cool. Please send me your paypal info again so I can refund the money. Sorry about this. Thanks," The Omen"

the thing that isnt right is having to pay you back in payments, you sent it in one payment, it should be returned in one payment, thats just how i feel though, if you take someones money for the sale of goods, and you dont produce the goods, give back the money in one payment, obviously the money was used to spend, but the wheels were never sent to you, thats :q:q:q:qed up in my book, poor business transaction. for your sake, i hope you get your money back, even if it takes a few payments. doesnt make omen look very good to everyone here, up until this thread i thought he was a good dude!
 
Come on Omen lol, I bought a one piece drive shaft and got it today because you said you would buy it this week or next week for sure. I don't mind if you don't. I'll keep it and install it at a later time but this stuff going on up above ain't right. Did he send you the cash in increments? Almost sounds like a short term loan that could end ugly.

Not my business though.

No, the drive shaft isn't for sale to anyone. I'll keep it just cause it looks purty. :D
 
I love how he is going to give me back $970. If I'm gonna be Philly National Fukkin Bank I want my $1000 plus interest. Usually a person would get charged two points a week for a loan. That would be compounded weekly.

I only knew this guys first name at 11 am this morning. So I think my info is coming along.

I really wanted them as well and I can show you the PM back and forth about them but when I asked to switch to email as I find it easier he answered one maybe two but when I really asked questions about the wheels no reply. I did not chase them down because I was going to pay in two payments, this was all in June. When you bought them I was trying to work a deal again but you paid before we settled it.

Sorry it turned out this way for you and I hope you get your cash back. Shame, they are nice wheels, if they exist.
 
I was going to buy them but then i thought about the risk i was taking. Id rather order them new and pay for tires.

"These wheels and tires are PERFECT!!! They look brand new and only have 3-4 thousand miles on them. I will ship them to you for 1,300 for everything including the wheel lugs with key, and hidden valve stem kit. You would pay close to 2,000 for what I have if you bought new and mine look like new. why dont you wait for him to reply seems like hes on here every other day or so. I know if you guys fall out of buying them I still want them... I live nearby so i will go there and give him cash.
 
i actually think he is a good guy,but maybe desperate times called for desperate measures.

i am not saying it was right to do, i know i would be furious myself.

i just think there is more to it than we know.

it really sucks to ruin a rep over 1k.

ok! 1st thing, there is no need to talk smack on here! Leave my personal life out of this crap!Second, Weren;t you glad I didn't send them at first because you gave me the wrong zip code if I am not mistaken and you said it was fine that I didn't send them yet! 3rd, I told you I was working a lot (on the road) and didn't get a chance to send the wheels right away! I had the wheels at the ups store ready to be shipped and they wanted to box them up and the whole deal would have cost me close to 300.00 to ship so I was trying to package them myself to save myself some money! I have no intention to rip you off dude! You can try to find out all the info you want about me....hell i'll tell you turn by turn directions to my house if you want me to! That would save the shipping cost! I have tried 3 different freight carriers to get a cheaper rate because after the paypal fees, i'm left with 970.00-whatever shipping cost and thats what i'm left with so thats why I am trying to ship these cheaper. I was just gonna keep the wheels because after everything, I would have got 800 or so for them so thats why I said I would refund you. I only asked you if I could sent it in a few (probably 2) payments back is because I had some unexpected bills pop up last week and with my girlfriend being slow at work, I am the sole breadwinner here and all i asked was if I could send it back to you in increments b/c of my current situation. I never thought it would come to this with threats and all that crap though! Have I not responded to every one of your pm's??? I have sent other members items before and never screwed ANYONE over! Your wheels will be packaged the way I recieved them from brad and sent out by the end of this week when I get home! I will pm you the tracking # Anyone on here can think what they want of me,you have the right to your own opinion but know both sides of the story before you come to any assumptions!
