And, btw, not only are muslims intent on the destruction of the non muslim world... they beat their women into submission (as instructed to by their quran) and withhold education for their children (while they call us unintelligent). In contrast, most American universities were founded by the churches in America.

How many times have you been to the mid-east to help people. Personally, I have served 2 6 month tours and have done biggoted things like build homes, clean up neighborhoods, deliver clothing and food. It is arm chair politicos like you that think you know somehting that is screwing up this country and our relatioships with people abroad.

You'd prefer to allow terrorist to continue to oppress the folks that my shipmates and I have been out to help than to see them live free and take part in a global economy and participate under a democracy.

Liberals are the socialist brother look to mother Russia to see your destiny.

It is the inaction of ignorant folks such as you that lead to the tragedies that have occured hear and abroad. To blame the folks that are answering the call of the terrorist clearly demonstrates you have nothing but ill intentions for this country. The service was a privilidge to me. I was very fortuneate to meet and help folks from many regions of the globe. Even in cases where we arrived i a city and nothing planned people opened thier homes to me and shared thier dinner table, gave me tours of thier fair city.

All I know is that I met a lot of folks some of the destitute and some of them not or on the border of being, the common thing they all shared was that they either wanted to come to my country or wished they shared in the freedoms we have here in thier own homeland.

Living in a Democracy is the ultimate luxury item and so many people treat it like as floor mat. I was blessed to have been able to serve it was a humbling experience and I am humbled by those who thank me because you all made it possible for me to go out and see the world the way it really is.

very cool! I wish the news would tell us more stories like this. Everything I have been hearing from the returning military folks paints a completely different picture than what the media concocts and the libbies spew back.

Well you can rest assured that when we are not engaged in combat that the troops are helping the folks in the community. This duel role does a great job promoting our country as a compassionate country.

If you notice, and I am sure you have, all the major media outlets all talk about the same thing... negative, negative and more negative. If they were really reporting the news wouldn't they have different stories to report on rather than the same theme day in and day out.

The people that encounter our military in their communities see a completely diffeent picture than is portrayed at home. However, I am sure that they the citizens of Iraq and Afghanistan look forward to the day that they have the strength to stand up for themselves and can see us depart for our homes but they will always carry with them the fond memories of their encounters with our troops. I defy anyone to find a better PR campaign than that.

Keep in mind figures lie and liars figure! Or friends the Libs love figures they poll for them everyday to make their decisions.
 
Just watch the TV news. What is always the lead story? How somebody killed somebody or somebody was killed in an accident. Even the weather is negative now. The news media is out of control. All anybody paid attention to the last 2 weeks were Jacko the Wacko and a white girl missing in Aruba.

So you are right Noah. Conservatives need to take a position in the Mainstream Media. Fox News does OK playing down the center. I would like to see a station go on the air that reports nothing but good news.

I remember selling cars back quite a few years ago. Every morning we had a 45 minute bitch session and the guys would leave the room with their heads down. Everybody was negative. Finally, the sales guys convinced management to abandon the meetings and let us do our thing. The results, a record month of sales for the dealership. Of course they went back to the dungeons and dragons meetings because they just couldn't let go. Same way in the media.

Keep us negative, keep us down, keep us needy. That is the libs way to maintain power.

Yeah I have a headache from all the negative crap. It is to the point now where I rarely watch the news, it is too depressing. If the MSM wants to get its viewers abck from the nternet they need to change the direction and tone to something more positive at least mix some positive news in.


You are right on point with the keep us... observation. It is really the only way they can substanitae their existence. Man if liberals, and I do not necessarily mean the guys here more so the politicos, could just listen to themselves ojectively for a 1 week heck 1 day they would certainly chenage the tone from the high squeal to something more moderate.

Well for one if I find myself following the tone of the Liberals I try to moderate my language. I try not to launch an attack like my liberal opponents so frequently do; but I certainly will go into a fight if I have to.

I do not brag or boast about property or material items. I am not embarrased about my humble beginings and choose to share stories about them rather than boast about my material acquisitions when promoting my agenda.

I am far from perfect but definitely not as inflamatory as a liberal.
