I have seriously been considering this. If I can do all the labor myself I can do it for under a grand with used parts. It kinda scares me though to have a frankenstein suspension with Jag upfront and the Lincoln in the back. You would have to get the H&R lowering springs for the Jag too if you were lowered to even it all out
 
Car is going to be one of the baddest rides in southern Cali. Can't wait to see or hear it one day in person.

I wouldnt be too concerned about the whole "Frankenstein" part of it. I got parts from Mustangs and MK VIIIs in mine. The suspension is off the same platform so theroretically everything should be fine. I wouldnt go trying to take control arms and whatnot from say, a CTSV just to get Brembos..
 
Alex, when this project is done make a new thread titled "Turbo kit DONE thread."

Alright, alright, can't have no fun around here! :)

A while back, Brett started working on Brembo brakes up front while some parts came in. He basically finished designing that on paper, just had to build it. Since I got my truck, I told them to go ahead and keep the car a little longer to start and finish the rear brembro brakes. So now he's working on the rears and will soon make the brackets for front and back to fit brembo brakes and bigger rotors. Also, I'm having the intake tube and intercooler anodized black.
 
And which brembo kit would this be??

I wanna start looking up prices....
 
There isnt an actual kit you just order online. He is putting it together but I dont remember the model calipers he is using, I'll check.
 
NICE!!!! Keep us posted on the brake up-grade. Price is right. I might order one from him.:)
 
I don't know the price because again, I am basically being "sponsored" since I'm letting them use my car to test fitments and all. If he can get it to be cheaper than the stop techs, that would be great for you guys!

seems like all he would have to do is create a bracket to fit over whatever disc he wanted to use, The actual caliper could be ordered separately.... no?
