Your main problems will be the electronics and tuning. You will really need to convert the engine to use the LS electronics, otherwise you lose air conditioning, ABS, traction control, and a lot of other things that should be unrelated to the engine. If you can make the electronics work, you will need to find someone who can tune the engine. The factory tune MIGHT work if you can scale up the fuel injectors and throttle body by the same percentage that the cubes scale up, but this is just a theory and I would not want to risk the money a conversion would cost on this theory. It SHOULD work, but probably wouldn't. Don't forget the transmission, it'll need some work to keep up with a larger engine.
You might be better off with sourcing a larger Jaguar AJ engine as they are the same block, and should use the same electronics. Well, not the same electronics exactly but the Ford electronics should plug into the Jaguar engine. I doubt seriously that they made major block changes so far as sensors and the like.
