What did you do to your LS today?

you on this job yet M4rk ? got them other parts in ?

Yep, finished the DIY full fluid exchange, as well as drop pan and filter change yesterday at 9:30PM. Went through 12.5QT of fluid total. What an experience..

Everything went well, aside from what I discovered in the bottom of the pan. Quite a bit of metal fragments that didn't stick to the magnet, some gold in color. Will take a pic at some point..

New degas still on the way BTW, but she is holding level for now

Replaced my heated/cooled seat motor (thanks maroonstang_92). The heated part got hot really quick but I didn't even notice it with the cool on, I only sat in it for about 2-3 minutes but was hoping to feel more coolness now that it's summer.

Having my fender rolled just because :shifty:

Bought these today for the 06.
Ford part numbers are the same for front and rear springs on the ls and thunderbird.
Called Eibach and the only difference between the ls kit and Thunderbird kit is spring rate. they're advertised to lower the ls 1" front and 1.1" rear and the Thunderbird kit says 1.3" front and 1.1" rear. I'm going out on a limb here but I would think that the ls is heavier so putting the Thunderbird springs on my ls would let it sit lower. Does that make sense?
Even if they sit the same the Thunderbird is a lot cheaper. It's also been discontinued by Eibach.
I already bought a set and there's another one left. If anyone else is interested here's the link.

For anyone that's looking to lower your ls with Eibachs now is your chance to do it a lot cheaper! I bought the first set of these a couple weeks ago and put them on this week. Only one set left and they're 169.99 shipped!

Took about 4 hours out of my day to do my yearly full detail

Thanks and yes it's the stock height
I would ideally like it lowered 3/4" , don't think I could go much lower than that with 285-40 tires on the rear

I managed to crack or tear if you will my driver fender.

I was rubbing on the driver side and thought since I had access to a eastwood fender roller I should do it. (should have had the alignment adjusted again.) Anyway I was heating it every few passes and applying pressure slowly. Not sure If I was just going to far in with the lip or o deep on the arch (towards the rear bottom) but regardless I need a new fender. FML

Ouch, that's crappy

How did yours go alax?

its the larger tires and I think mine is sitting a tad lower than yours by the looks of it. I hope I can find a good black fender buff it and re-roll it. I just need more heat I guess IDK

The reason I rolled them is I have 9in wide wheels all the way around. They are at the very edge

here is the tear

I plan on getting some better pics this weekend:

I tore the center console, rear lower seats, rear surround, and tons of stuff and ran the wiring for the rear cam.

Now I just need to find a good wire for the rear reverse wire.

Hope to finish it up today since I only have to work a half day.

i used the black/maroon from the trunk wire harness... not to be confused with the black/brown (just look at the passenger side reverse bulb harness to confirm color)... it runs to the harness just behind the passenger side rear seat in the trunk.

Last night I did more body work getting ready for "Dipping" the car Saturday.1015120_545115892211808_1470057417_o.jpg1015123_545116258878438_2011043000_o.jpg1008346_545116798878384_172577465_o.jpg

LKing, your LS looks as low as mine. Are you on Eibachs or what? Also your wheels look so good tucked in there like that.

What color, Dan Ro?
