..did a background check on my service today..have 195,000 miles on it. Was shocked to see the amount of service done on this car since 38,000. Bought it from an affluent area in upstate new york..and they had no problem spending thousands on service every other month. Dealer recommended new transmission in 2010. Seller assured me this was done, so shouldn't I assume it was done since it is now about 60,000 miles later..?? Scares me to read about all of the issues my other LS fam is having and I'm not..can I attribute this to many service appointments and money spent or should I be worried as hell...? thanks for the input.

my fogs are 3000k hids, they dnt look that yellow and bright in the photo

Can the fogs be pointed out for a longer throw of their light? Mine shoot about a foot or two past the hood on the ground and that's it. Maybe that's how they are supposed to be, dunno.

Putting people with a luxury car and deep pockets inside a dealership service center is a recipe for work being done. Why worry about it? Probably just hypochondriacs that put a lot of new parts on the car.

waggs - I used Autocheck for my background check; was pleased with their service. If you Google 'Carfax vs Autocheck', you should run across some lengthy discussions about each service's pros and cons.

Get some high power CREE bulbs. They have a magnifying lens on the end that works like a projector lens. I have a set in mine and they work great. As far as aiming the housings, there are two screws on the inside of the bumper that are used to adjust the housings.

murdered do you mean cree leds ? if so how much watts did you get ? i have 11 watt leds in my highs right now and they produce a good enough light , might upgrade to 80watt

These are the ones I have in my car. Doesn't say wattage though... they're pretty bright but at nearly 30.00+ per pair, its too much for some people.

Just as a reference point, a normal household 60 Watt bulb is 810 lumen.

Well the exhaust is completely in and all welded except at the cats:

My set-up:
Magnaflow high flow cats and then straight pipe (rather than the "third cat") into the Magnaflow cat-back which included the x-pipe, resonators, mufflers, and 4" tips.

Overall I'm pretty happy with the sound although I wouldn't be opposed if it were even a bit louder. It's got a nice growl and I don't want it too loud, but it's still fairly quiet. With the new cats and larger diameter exhaust, the car seems more responsive.

Next up is to figure out a vibration in the drivetrain.

Want it louder? Simply remove those resonators.

Or get shorter ones. When Magnaflow was prototyping the system on my car they started out with short resonators. There was such a drone I got a headache after a few miles.....

That is how they are supposed to be. Fogs are designed to put out light wide, low, and with a light color that is least likely to reflect off of the water droplets in fog. (Yellowish)

You are wanting to extend your's toward the extension of the lows as viewed from the driver's perspective. That will require different reflectors, different lenses, etc. That being said, if you are looking to have your lights appear more uniform to the casual observer or oncoming driver, that is going to be very difficult. You can have one or the other. Its near impossible to do both because of the different location of the source. I have been adjusting headlights on cars since 1985, and one of the most annoying aspects of doing that task is dealing with the driver and his or her expectation of what they should or should not be able to see out on the road.

I'd have to include myself in that group of drivers because I used to be absolutely terrible with that back in the day. Then, one day, I saw the light. Nowadays, I just worry about the elevation on my car because I have those VOL units which never look right until you have signs and obstacles out on the road.

I called the dealership to see if they have mine fixed yet or if they are just going to keep throwing parts at!

Well code says oxygen sensors wander if maf could cause this

It might help to know the specific five character code(s). There are several different codes with slightly different meanings that relate to the O2 sensors.
