What did you do to your LS today?

I let mine sit for two months without touching it. (not willingly of course). Fired right up, although it was a bit sluggish at first, after a few miles it woke up and and I gave it some fresh 91 octane, it was happy again. Also ordered at new hydraulic fan actuator.

Ever heard of "insurance won't cover it" if you get rear ended with modified tail lamps!
Read the small print, the part where it talks about "modified".

couple of cops (fans of lincolns) from my school were checking out the car and they never mentioned that they were tinted, they thought it was stock like that since i have the storm trooper look going, and BigRigLs if I do get rear ended ima peel it off and say I dont know what they are talking about :p

Don't worry, mine are getting an ever so light coat of mixed clear/black this summer.

If I get hit from the front they not gonna replace
my CAI intake either..so what's the difference..I will just replace the tint if
mines gets hit..lol.

There's room for modification considering the design factor. It will take a lot to prove that your lamps still meet the legal regulatory requirements though. The stock Mercury Marauder lamps were smoked to just barely legal.

Finally a pic of the new wheels and tires are here! Getting some 20% tint all the way around tomorrow hopefully!

is that a 2nd GEN?
if so the intake tube and K&N filter in our PM discussion is not so correct, mine is 1st GEN V8.
intake and routing is different on the two GENs.

he has a gen 1 , i been trying to help him out too, BigRigLs since you have a gen 1 with a C.A.I you think a filter like mine would fit in the Gen 1 ?

Couldn't see the windshield washers on the hood of his pics, so though it was 2nd GEN.

He's trying to retain the stock plastic intake so I'm unsure if a 10" filter will start to bump into things.
Mine with an ASMI intake tube and adaptor, 7 3/4" K&N filter leaves me with a few inches to spare before it would start to bump into the inner fender.

I'd have to reinstall my old plastic stock intake tube to say for sure. (which I'm not interested in doing right now)

but it can always be exchanged for the right size should he find it to not fit correctly.

Others here may have fitted a K&N on the stock intake, I'm sure someone could assist.

just from this pic i can kind of tell he doesnt have room for any big filter , probably thats why the kkm offered such a baby filter in its kit

thanks for the pic man will share the info with wade , where did u get the adapter for the filter ?

Ebay. It came with a smaller filter and I had this spectre filter so I threw this one on instead. Its very little spacing left but it fits and inhales great
