ok a few question i have about these angel eyes, the picture looks a bit deceiving.

Those are NOT CCFL rings. Those are the LED rings. The life span on the LED's suck. I stopped selling them because they burn out way too quickly. CCFL's are the way to go.

Yeah, I always thought the Demon Eye (LED) kit looked alot more "noticable" but what is it they say... "The Brightest star burns the shortest"

i also had LED rings installed.. looked good when the car was parked at night but with the lights on and during the day it just didn't fly.

then was the fact that LED just doesn't last like Ken mentioned.

i'm going to be getting CCFL in the comming months.

so how much we talkin for blue or red CCFLs and when do you predict that their price will drop?

I can get the red CCFL's but they are twice the price as the white or bluish colors. I'd say once something new comes out to replace CCFL that the price will drop on them.

I'm working on a CCFL DIY kit for the LS guys. It should be available in March. I'd like to get away from installing the kits and this will be the best way to offer a great product at a reduced price. This way it's better for the customer and much easier for me.

After looking at BMW DIY kits from various sites I'd say around $249.

I have read a few things online discussing the spontaneous combustion of the DC to AC converts for CCFL kits. Who makes the power converters for this kit?

is that including the headlights?

No, it would be just the rings, mounting clips, installation guide and technical support. I'm currently the only one that has mounting clips for these rings. Don't be fooled by another person selling these on eBay. The mounting clips I use are the exact ones used for the BMW installations.

The DIY kits will come with a wiring harness to prevent the electrical fires. I'll be the only to provide the wiring harness.

Without giving up trade secrets just how do teh wiring harness' provide fire/fault protection. it seems in the cases I have read the inverter combusted despite being installed properly or by professional. Is it an HSD, heat sensing device, that breaks at the first sign of overheating. Power inversion is very heat intensive; I want this for my car but I don't want to burn it up. I do carry a fire extinguisher though JIC. :)

Hey not to change the subject but teh grills you have posted on your website. Is that for the entire kit? The cap and waterfall?

Man that is a smokin' deal... am I wrong? Knowing what I paid for my trenz billet I'd have to say it is a good deal.

LSE grilles come with everything you see pictured. The grille, mounting tabs, emblem and the whole nine yards.

As for the inverters I'll call my supplier and ask him what the low down is on them. I'd rather not speculate but I haven't seen any problems. The only problem I've seen is failure. They just go out.

Well everything has a break point. In the case of failure it is likely due to vibration or thermal degeneration. Does the supplier provide a warranty replacement?

For the DIY kit. Do I have to bake my headlights and seperate them to install or can the rings be installed through the bulb mount.

I have had mine apart already to fix the moisture problem and am weary of undoing my work.

Here is the response to my supplier on the rings and transformers:

"They have a "defeat" component in there, if there is a problem, they blow."

As for a warranty, there is a 1 year warranty on all components on the kit. As for installation, you would have to separate your headlights to install these.
