I resent that. I was ASE, (not ASC), certified for many years. My current profession doesn't require them... so I let them lapse. Wouldn't take much to get them again if needed.

There have been reports of Rockauto sending cheaper brand parts in Ford (or whatever brand you ordered) boxes.

Yeah... they did do that breifly a few years back. Haven't seen any evidence of that from the hundreds of parts I have purchased over the last couple of years.

One time... I did order some Timken bearings from them,,, and got the higher priced SKF's in the Timken boxes.
