what exactly is the difference between a regular ls grille and an lse grille? is it just the chrome or????? ive searched the forums ive even google searched. im just curious.

i need the interior door handle and lock (the chrome parts). mines broke i have to let my passengers out myself. but im a bit broke now because of christmas, if its still available after the holidays ill be interested though.

dont paint it! wrap it in black vinyl that way if you dont like it you can always peel the vinyl off.

i found a broken wire down by my seat and it seems like i read somewhere in here when i had my last ls that that wire is a common break and can cause the airbag stuff to go all screwy, but i may be wrong.

nope nothing happens no beeps or lights or anything.

Lol. Thats my old ls!!!\\have you done anything to it? i see tinted/painted side markers and rain guards but nothing other than that. i may be interested in those rims if they come up for sale.

message center works fine the only screen that is out is the parking indicator/trip/odometer screen. i do get a series of five chimes five times whenever i start the car, i dont know if that has anything to do with it but i thought id mention it.

im in michigan too and that storm last week was a good test for my ls and i think it performed pretty well!

ok im on to my next problem, 2000, ls, 3.9. my odometer (well that whole screen) stopped working. i dont have the little dashes as some others have posted in their threads (thats right i searched the forums). all of my guages work just fine, i dont have abs or trac- control lights on. its just...

well the wheel bearing "cut loose" today i was driving and all of a sudden the noise was back so since i was less than a mile from home i busted butt to get there. pulled the wheel apart and saw that the wheel bearing had grenaded! long story short, a couple hours labor and a trip to the parts...

it was a rubbing and spinning noise, upon a further inspection i believe it actually is wheel bearing. i jacked it up today and shook down the wheel more i noticed the caliper and wheel both moving.... so i pulled the wheel and when i did i realized my lug nuts werent even barely hand tight on...

good suggestion i thought of that though. its like metal clunking against metal sounding.

i should also add that this noise is coming anytime im over 35 or so not just over bumps or anything. its like a loud clanking or banging that is slower than the revolution of the engine or wheels. it sounds like something dragging under the car and banging off the ground and right under my feet...

noise is back! lol

well it stopped making the noise when i just left so now im really lost! yes yes i checked all that. and ur right exactly im trying to nail down something concrete b4 i start throwing parts at it.
