If its a poping horn type sound from your air box..Thens its the IAC motor..Its gone bad ...Might get lucky with just a cleaning...

Got it fixed...Using a piece a vac line that doesn,t have a pin hole in it and 2 small clamps.. But thanks for the replys guys...

I some how cracked the left rear air suspenion line...And i can,t seem to fix it...I put a small piece of vac line on it and it should have worked...But it didn,t...The damn thing is still leaking...It appears to be leaking..Lower than where the visable crack was...And to make matters worse it...

I gutted the whole interior and oil sprayed every nook and cranny in her..Fender wells came out.Basically i stripped the car...Canadian winters aren,t kind to cars..But she will never see another winter again..And what little rust is there is soaked with oil now...Other than that..I,m saving for...

This is from Ford Service Publications in 1990.A book i have..T-Bird with 3.8l engine and auto tranny..NOT an SC...3542lbs... Cougar LS 3.8L auto tranny...3553lbs Cougar XR-7 Sc 5-speed....3710lbs Not sure why there is no listing for the T-Bird SC...Should be around the same as the Cougar...

Has anyone completely removed the ABS out of a Mark8..I,m toying with the idea..But this system apears differant than my old 89 Cougar XR-7 SC.I know when i did this i used a Crown vic booster and a T-Bird master.. I used the search function with no luck!!!!...Any help would be great...

Thanks guys..The air ride works fine..Just my L/F tire is leaking at the rim..And the driveway is on a slant..As soon as i start the car it levels out just fine..Just needs upper B/Js and a windshield to pass safety..But if i really wanted to drive it i could just write the safety tomorrow..I...

Not sure about the Lincoln..But some cars have a metal bracket from the frame to the brake hose..It rusts and collapses the brake hose..Seen it many times on cars at my work..All u need to do is pry the metal away from the hose and see if the fluid flows..
