I cobbled this together with some spare parts I had laying around. Do you think that MAFS will live in that engine compartment? It sure seems to get awful hot in there. Im wondering if I should just go back to the old air box configuration. Are there any pitfalls to this arrangement?

Right, problem occurs at idle in drive,L2 and L1 and also reverse. Seems to miss out at onset of acceleration up to 15 mph, unit hunts between drive and OD, beyond 35 upshifts to OD and problem disappears, No problems at highway speeds. I am as clueless as any one man can be!
