Alright, got the problem resolved. RCM fuse was blown. Replaced and what do ya know. Light goes off. About time something is an easy fix on this car lol

I don't believe it flashes a 2 digit code or flash briefly. Just start it up and goes straight to solid.

Also, I think i remember reading that this is a sign of the clockspring going bad because the cruise control also is inoperative. So could the clockspring be the cause?

Ok. Warranty extension. My bad. All of the coils have been replaced though. I believe the 8th one went out at ~75,000 if remember correctly.

It's already had the Coils replaced under the recall warranty deal. I guess I should have stated that at the beginning because that would be an obvious place to start. I did purchase it back in 2010 though.

He told me it could be a vacum leak too. It's also had the fuel filter replaced, but I'm starting to wonder what all he's checked. My father thinks i should take it to one of the local dealers near where we live. I'm really considering it.

Just got the car back last friday. Had MAF sensor replaced by a shop in a nearby town and front o2 sensors replaced by a different shop. Then today i had an exhaust shop put on new magnaflow tips. As i was leaving the shop the engine light came on again and it started to idle fairly rough...

I had the same thing happen with start then quit right away. Ended up needing the MAF sensor cleaned. Ran good for a couple days then engine light came back on. Ended up needing a new MAF sensor. So i would start with cleaning it. Also the code was a engine running lean code

Do what bigrig says. I don't know what everyone else did, but i did the same thing and also removed resonators and replaced with whichever size piping. I think you'll be pleased with the results.
