Are these oem packs??
At that point the fluid should decrease in the reservoir right? Then just fill to compensate.Motor off, turn fan by hand begins to pump fluid through.
Everything was buttoned up since yesterday. I'll give it a shot in a fewand don't let it suck air
your spooling it through sorta-speak

Ok, so where would I gravity feed? The reservoir?Should have been able to prime the lines as you reassembled. try think of how you'd move air in a hydraulic system? Needs to be gravity fed, open line while filling and bleeding. Actuator must be a working unit.
Its slow at idle..I don't kow too much about the stupidity of the hydraulic fan(another over-engineering feat Unneeded).....................does it work only when the engine reaches the proper temp to call for it? don-ohio ^)
Well, that's more than I know. I hope you get it fixed so your De-gas bottle doesn't explode again. I know what you mean by that......really aggressive boil-over. don-ohio ^)

The line that came of that exit from the reservoir. Should have been able to run the old contaminated fluid out and fresh in before bolting it back onto that salvaged replacement fan assy.
Good attitude,KidL! Never say die! don-ohio ^)
So what youre saying is disconnect the rubber hose from the fan, and run the fresh fluid through the reservoir until it comes out of the disconnected hose?
Just trying to clarify.
The lower hose from the reservoir (the only one of the two that fluid will continuously run out of) is attached to the pump, not the fan motor. Fluid flow is Reservoir - pump - fan motor - reservoir - pump - fan motor - ...
KidL,go here and see if it helps you. Click on the top link HAWK supplies. Looks like it'll help? don-ohio ^)

I think it was Joe that said some shops do it by mistake? They add coolant where they shouldn't. don-ohio ^)
