We have about a week until etown - Saturday 4/4/09, if your going pm me and we'll swap numbers.

So far htrdlincoln98 and richduty will be meeting up with me so im tryin to get all the south jersey philly guys to ride up in one group.

There should be a pretty good turnout of lincolns so lets show up with numbers.

On a side note- I should have the 97 sniper tuned and a set of the stainless steel LMS mufflers (taking the straight pipes off) by the weekend and this will be my first time to the track since last fall when he was bone stock. Hopefully ill have enough time to install the autometer phantoms as well.

So whos going? If your coming from my way we can all meet up at a central point and ride up together...everyone else i'll see you there.

Even if you arent going to race you can always spectate and support the lincoln crew.
 
My plan is to race as long as I get my power steering line on today. Kinda figure they would can me in tech if I leave a puddle of power steering fluid there :rolleyes:

That and looking out this morning I think I may have found out why my plate wires where so screwed up :confused:

Where and when.

Does anyone have a pair of slicks I can borrow for the day? I have nothing but uncontrolable wheel hop and I wont race until I have a pair of slicks or at the very least get some ssm bars and see if that calms it down enough.

Maybe by then my rear tires will be slick. Will slick 245 g-forces due you any good? lol
 
I'm going to try and make this.

I haven't been to a Lincoln drag racing gathering in years (maybe 5 or 6 years?!)

Is Geno coming, I know how much he loves Raceway Park. :)

As stated i'll be in.......not sure how you guys go....I usually go up the NJ turnpike to go...maybe meet at a rest stop on the TP and go from there???
 
Not sure when and where everyone is coming from so thats what im going to find out in this thread.

I want to head up early in the moring, turnpike or whatever is fine...i dont remember how to get there (only been once) so whoever knows the area can lead or whatever. I might have to dig out the gps just incase.

Post up where your coming from and what time you want to be at the track, i would like to get there as they open or shortly after (is it 10 am?) someone correct me if im wrong.

coming from south jersey.....know how to get there.....prob taking the TP, want to get there early as possible too!!!
 
What time's everyone shooting to get there? Gates open at 10, IIRC? I'll probably be there for 10, since I live for sleeping especially after the weeks I've had at work lately.
 
TP sound good to me. I would like to be there at 10 also. I'll be on the road at 6 am into south jersey by 8-8:30. Does that sound right if i'm on the south tp at those times i'll be there at 10? Let me now if thats wrong and i'll adjust the times.
 
It usually takes me 2 hours give or take to get from the Delaware Memorial Bridge to Staten Island, if I remember right. You should be there at 10 with no problem, I'd think.
 
Alright cool that leaves a little time to meet and get rollin again. My girls going to be happy that its not earlier.
 
wow, wish I could be there, got's to work though-hopefully next time, i have been playing with my new tuner for the past couple of days and am dying to check it out somewhere where I won't get a ticket (or worse).:D

that's what I was thinking

in the 25 seconds in that video I coulda shot it and videotaped atleast 15 seconds of it flopping around.

would have to use the "small gun" for that shot though.

Hop on the streets is no where near the same as on the track. Tons more traction on a rubber coated starting line than on the streets.
