Lets talk about replacement cars

If your looking to get an e39 M5 with lower miles, you'll pay about thirty? For that you might aswell just by an '06 e46 M3 with 45K miles or so. Unless the M5 really does somthing for ya, id buy an m3. Just my thoughts...

M3 = cramped.

I'm sure it'll be viewed as a step back (and definitely is from a luxury standpoint), but I am in love with the new Fusion. Even if they come out with a ST version like the Focus, I think I'll get the Titanium edition. Decent looking power, with great fuel economy, which is something I want. Couldn't do the 1.6 EcoBoost, with it only get 179 HP. But I think the 2.0 getting 230HP while still getting 33 MPG highway will be good enough for me. That and I totally love the European style front end. Very Aston Martin-esque.

I see no point in keeping the LS if you getting a E39 M5. Those things are over 10 years old and they still go for a lot of money.

My replacement is in my sig.

great choice, looks like the new jags i see than the martin's also it has a great potential with some modification thinkin its a new success of ford

Yeah the m5 does alot for me. I like the newer m5s but the e39 just seems like it speaks to me.

I guess the only reason i would keep the ls is because its paid for and has a new paint job from the vandalism that occurred last year.

If i could get a e39 m5 i would probably go for a g8 or sts v

they're FWD?? poo!

They look so nice. I thought they were RWD :(

Yeah the maxima is fwd unfortunately. Strong engine too makes 290 HP from two less cylinders.

The infinitis are all rwd though.

If I nail down this new job to replace my current I'm hopping all over a used Jaguar XF. Probably not the XF-R because I'm not that cool. Love my LS and put a lot of time and money into it, but I only paid 2,800 for the car so I wouldnt be upset parting ways with her.

There is no replacement for my LSE. Maybe an addition...but no replacement. I will never own a BMW, I dont like them. If I ever buy another luxury/sport car it will be a CTS-V. I am looking to buy a Jeep soon for winter and a DD so I can do some long term projects to the LSE. I will own my LSE forever unless it is ever wrecked beyond repair.

i knew I'd have an ls when i first saw it live in the l.a. car show in '99... i'm in the same boat as hite... would love to get a ss trailblazer or the new srt jeep... if chevy would only make another 454 ss would i get a truck...

Finally saw an Audio R8 up close. It was nice :)

I plan to do like hite and keep my LS as a project/toy car. Looking at acquiring something a little more over-the-road and multi-passenger friendly like an Explorer or Expedition. Something that I can throw stuff and people in comfortably and drive wherever.

The Trailblazer SS's are nice as is the Jeep SRT8....I also like the Ford Edge crossover thing. Put some custom wheels on them and they look pretty sharp.

+1 on TrailBlazer SS. Thought about one when we were thinking about going back to Minnesota; in talking to owners and hitting the forums, those things are murder on fuel mileage.
Too bad, sweet looks, some AWD, and crazy power...

Oh yeah, I wont be replacing my ls either, just adding to my collection.

Waiting for used ATS's with 6 speeds to show up for less than 20,000. Should be available in about two to three years by then I'll have 200,000 and be in the market for a replacement.

I've already replied but if they brought back the Ford Lightning that would be at the top of my list for an additional new car. New to me would be some sorta super duty.

They don't make it factory but you can add the kit to an F150/Mark LT and make the same power.

I haven't looked into it much but I knew that they made the kit for it. I liked the styling of them too. The latest generation of lightnights (nearly 10 years ago now) had different headlights, tail lights, bumpers, side skirts, step side bed, etc. on top of the performance differences. I don't see how they can make the Raptor but not even reconsider the lightning.
