Yes, I have searched around the forum however i cant seam to compile a complete list to redo my front end suspension. I have already ordered some moog upper and lowers control arms. Im looking at http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=203555&cc=1188547 these for the sway bar links

so what else do i need. while im doing it i want to get it all done. so tie rods. bushings tools and so on. of course links to parts either on ebay or rockauto would be awesome as well. ive seen a lot of people talk smack about the blue moog rear strut rod bushings. im pretty sure my car is stock on the front end. so what would be the next best thing to stick up there. i dont really want to buy the ones from super coup performance. i think that guy likes to price gouge the crap out of people.

anyway what do ya suggest. and why do you suggest it.

thanks in advance.

http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=202442&cc=1188547 and maybe these as well.

this is what i have coming
MOOG K80053 Control Arm/Ball Joint Assy
MOOG K80055 Control Arm/Ball Joint Assy
Moog K8596 Suspension Control Arm and Upper Ball Joint Assembly
Moog K8598 Suspension Control Arm and Upper Ball Joint Assembly

i just got Ford oem front end SRB's (rears to LCA's) $65 for both sides from AAS..he still has about 10 pairs left I think...Eddie says he rarely gets requests for the forward SRB's, so doesn't stock em

Trippen... I would very, very, extra-highly recommend picking up an 18mm ratcheting wrench, if you don't have one already. That driver's-side rear UCA bolt is a bitch without it.

if the mileage of your suspension parts is unknown or original, i would:

replace:
upper and lower control arms.
strut rod bushings. (OEM rubber!!)
sway bar end links.
inner and outer tie rods.

inspect:
air shocks/coil springs.
wheel bearings.
brake lines, pads, and rotors.
sway bar bushings.

sensor lower it. (if applicable)

and get it aligned ASAP.

and that's about it really.
i usually go moog. except the strut rod bushings. get the ford strut rod bushings.

Yea I have 18mm sockets and swing wrenches. Ill probably just pop the tab and hit it with an impact wrench.

the only new parts on the suspension is the coil conversion. and rotors are somewhat newish. anything brake related will be taken care of with the cobra swap coming down the road. at this point time my focus is just the suspension.

I still need to get the tie rods. and sway bar links. I heard you could by ford strut rod bushings but you need to resuse your original parts with them.

You need AT LEAST the following wrench sizes for the suspension components...

30mm
24mm
21mm
19mm
18mm
Crescent wrench

You should also have a full set of wrenches from 17mm down to 8mm, just because. I would also recommend getting as many sizes of ratcheting wrenches as you can. They're always helpful.

Also, I recommend getting Motorcraft sway bar endlinks, rather than the Moog's. last time I checked, they were $41 apiece at RockAuto.

I ordered the motorcraft sway bar end links 6 months ago and since that time they have changed the part number. Used to be the 18128 were the motorcraft (straight) links. Now that motorcraft part number is the curved moog (rebranded) link. The straight (OEM) link is now MEF121.

ACDELCO Part # 45G0102 {#88912252}
LINK,FRT STAB SHF -; LINK WITH SOCKETS

$40.79

MOTORCRAFT Part # MCS18128 {#4U2Z5V484BA}
Greasable; Front
$48.79

MOTORCRAFT Part # MEF121
Pre-Greased; Front

$51.79

Thanks i think im going to stick with the moog sway bar links tho. the price a little more to my liking and im only hoping ot get a year or so out of everything before i need to redo it all.

does anyone have a link to the oem strut rod bushings?

Don't know of another place to get them than FORD.

anyone have the part numbers for the strut rod bushings.

so i take it i will need 2 inner tie rods. 2 outer tie rods. they appear to be universal when it comes to side.

will i need to get a set of these as well ?

I think Spree kinda got taken to the woodshed b/c of rust on his, if yours is like mine (a southern car) you won't have as much trouble as he did; yesterday and today I've disassembled my front end except for tie rod ends, which I'll do tomorrow

if there's an Advance Auto near you they will rent alot of tools you'll need...like the Pittman arm puller for the sway bar end links (at sway bar union) and lower ball joint/knuckle

Got my UCA's today. looks like i got a better deal then i thought i did. I thought i was getting just plain old moog uppers however it turns out i got the problem solvers which makes the deal even better. Rockauto sells these for 61 dollars each i believe. I scored both with shipping for 75.

You are not exactly right but I just got these. Stamped the same. You got a better deal though. Where did you get them again?

MOOG Part # K8596 Problem Solver

Silly me. I was comparing them to the price of the normal Mark VIII UCA. I got them from ebay. glad to see either way i still got a deal tho.

so u got both UCA's for 75..shipped? where's that link???

Sorry I lied. it was 78.58 shipped. I don't think he had anymore. If you want the sellers name ill be more then happy to get it for ya.

I also ordered the tie rods and the control arms those are coming. i think all i have left is to secure some bushings probably gonna do the wheel bearings too while im at it. and a tie rod rench (rental style)

These just came in as well. to my surprise they were also problem solvers. I think this set was 115 shipped. I wont be getting any other parts till mid next week. I am still looking for a good place to get the strut rod bushings and i am not sure if i am missing any other bushings that should probably be done while the front end is mostly apart
